Unlock Additional Cooking Recipes

Additional Cooking Recipes solarpunk unlock berry cake

In Solarpunk, players unlock the recipe to make Berry Cake by researching “Additional Cooking Recipes” at the Research Table (Tier 7). This requires:

Corn x2: Corn is obtained by exploring the islands that are unlocked when you upgrade the Airship to Level 4
Truffle x2: Truffle is obtained by farming pigs.
Raspberry x2: Raspberries can be harvested from bushes found in the world or by growing the seeds you collect.

Make Berry Cake

Once the recipe is unlocked, you can make a Berry Cake at a Kitchen Counter or an Outdoor Kitchen using the following ingredients:

Dough x1: Can be made at a Kitchen Counter, Outdoor Kitchen, or Crafting Table using Wheat x3.
Egg x1: Can be obtained by farming chickens.
Sheep’s Milk x1: Can be obtained by farming sheep.
Honey x1: Can be made at a Kitchen Counter or Outdoor Kitchen using Beeswax x4.
Raspberry x4: Can be obtained from Raspberry bushes or by planting Raspberry seeds.

How to Make a Kitchen Counter or Outdoor Kitchen in Solarpunk

You can unlock the recipe for the Kitchen Counter and an Outdoor Kitchen by researching “Cooking” at a Research Table (Tier 6). Once that’s done, you’ll be able to craft Kitchen Counters and Outdoor Kitchens at a Crafting Table, in the Utilities tab.

Pots and Pans can be crafted after you research Decorative Plates & Pots & Pans at a Tier 6 Research Table. You’ll be able to craft Pans in the Crafting Table’s Decorations tab, with Pot being one of the alternative recipes under the same entry.

The only difference between a Kitchen Counter and an Outdoor Table is in how they look. Functionally, they’re both the same and offer the same recipes. Outdoor Kitchens can even be placed inside houses (and Kitchen Counters can be placed outside).
