Palworld 1.0 introduces new items to obtain in the game, and we now require the Ancient Civilization Cores to complete some of the more advanced recipes. The introduction of Ancient Technology means that we have new tools to play with. However, we will need plenty of Ancient Civilization Cores to complete their construction.
How to find Ancient Civilization Core
The key to obtaining the Ancient Civilization Core is hidden behind the boss raids. All high-level dungeons will have a 100% drop rate chance if you manage to defeat the bosses. Here’s a list of Raid Bosses to defeat.
- Bellanoir
- Bellanoir Libero
- Blazamut Ryu
- Hartalis
You can also attack Oil Rigs that are Level 55 or above. Doing so will help you get Greater Chests that offer massive chances for you to obtain Ancient Civilization Core. Once you complete the Raid, you could end up with cores.
Certain Pal Expeditions, once unlocked, also allow you to earn Ancient Civilization Core. Here’s a list of Expeditions to focus on if you’re looking for this specific resource.
- Frozen Cave of the Snow Mountain (Normal)
- Dark Cave of Feybreak (Normal)
- Ancient Feybreak Remains (Hard)
You’ll need the Pal Expedition Station for this part, and you can unlock it at Level 22 from the Technology section.

How to use Ancient Civilization Core in Palworld
So we have figured out how to get the Ancient Civilization Core. But how do we use it? Well, here’s a list of all the recipes that require Ancient Civilization Core.

- Sniper Module II: High-tier weapon upgrades.
- Homing Module
- Ultra Shield: One of the best shields to craft for endgame content.
- Expand base production rate and potential breeding (as part of endgame Egg Incubators).
Almost every Ancient Technology suit and weapons require Ancient Civilization Core in their recipe. Hence, you should look to farm this resource as much as possible once you’re in the endgame.
