You will also have to extract the max-level sprite to hit the Mastery Rank rewards. Once you hit mastery rank for 17 Sprites, you will get 3 Sprite Locators in your inventor. These Sprite Locators will always be exclusive to your account, and you can consume them on your run.
How to use the Sprite Locator in Fortnite
Once you have found your first Sprite Locator, open your Gizmo Wheel during a run. You will find the sprite locator in place of your pickaxe on the left side. Once you have equipped and used the sprite locator, it will help you to detect a buried Sprite Chest near you.
The locations of the buried Sprite Chest will be exclusive. In simple words, other players will not be able to find them. You will lose your Sprite Locator if you’re eliminated. You will also lose the sprite that you might have obtained from the chest. Hence, you must extract the Sprite successfully if you want to add it to your collection.
Once the Sprite Locator has been activated, you will find a marker on your screen. The marker will show you the exact location of the blue chest. You will also be able to find the Sprite inside the chest using the hologram image. Hence, you can always decide if opening the chest is worth your time or not. Once you decide to open it, dig it up and the rewards are all yours.
