The Museum is a building in Moonlight Peaks where players can submit various types of items to be displayed in different exhibits. Filling out the Museum’s exhibits is part of the endgame progression, but doing so is not easy.
Finding every single item that can be displayed in the Museum takes dedication, time, and lots and lots of planning. To give players a comprehensive idea of what the Museum entails in Moonlight Peaks, here’s the breakdown.
How to Unlock the Museum in Moonlight Peaks
After the Henderson family moves into town during the main story, players will unlock various quests related to the Museum. Jada Henderson will enlist players’ help in setting up the Museum, her lifelong dream. In this process, you’ll have to complete the following quests:
- A New Beginning: The Hendersons move into Moonlight Peaks.
- Museum in the Making: Jada buys the building in the northern part of town to turn it into a Museum.
- Curating the Museum: Jada sends out invites to the Museum’s grand opening.
After the Curating the Museum quest is complete, the Museum will be open for business. You can find the Museum in the top left corner of the town, west of the Crest Garden, right next to the exit that leads to Luna’s Seed Stall in the Moonlit Pines.
How to Donate to the Museum in Moonlight Peaks
The Museum is split into five rooms: supernatural, deity, farming, aquarium, and critter. Each room has a signboard with an exclamation mark where you can donate items.
To submit an item, enter the room where that item can be donated, interact with the signboard, select the item, and hit “Donate.”
If you want to donate a fish, for example, you’ll enter the aquarium room, but if you have a new bug that you caught, you’ll only be able to donate it in the critter room.
Items that can be donated to the Museum have their inventory icons marked with a Museum symbol (shown above), showing that these items haven’t been submitted yet.
Museum Progression Rewards in Moonlight Peaks
Every time you hit certain milestones in the Museum’s completion progression, Jada will give you a new reward. This cutscene triggers when you exit the exhibition rooms and enter the reception area of the Museum.
