When Does COD Black Ops 7 Season 6 Start?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has officially revealed its Season 6 content lineup for The Haunting. With Season 5 approaching its final week, players have a limited time to unlock all of their final Battle Pass rewards. Black Ops 7 Season 6: The Haunting begins on September 17. This guide will go over the start times and all of the update’s content.

When Does The Haunting Release for COD Black Ops 7?

Black Ops 7 Season 6 Start Times

Black Ops 7 Season 6: The Haunting begins on Thursday, September 17, at 9 AM PT. Pre-downloads for Season 6 are already live, rolling out first on Battle.net. Just like all new seasonal updates, players will be required to download all the content first before being able to play either Black Ops 7 or Warzone.

The start of Season 6 also marks the end of the Season 5 Battle Pass, giving you until Thursday at 9 AM PT to unlock all its rewards. For those unsure of when Season 6: The Haunting starts, here is a rundown of its start times by region:

All Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 6: The Haunting Content

Endgame Content

Endgame only receives a handful of content for Season 6 following the end of its free-trial period. These new updates are as follows:

• Avalon Night Map: A new map variant of Avalon available at launch. Features map changes and increased threats against Fear enemies.
• The Forbidden Summoning Event: A new event where you must unlock seals to summon the Aether Worm. Defeating it yields new rewards.

Multiplayer Content

Two new Multiplayer Maps arrive at launch, including:

• Quantum (6v6, Medium-Sized)
• Bloodstead (6v6, Medium-Sized) – Homestead variant

New Multiplayer Modes also debut, including:

• T.E.D.D. Trials: Play on several Zombies Survival Maps in Multiplayer 6v6. The aim is to complete T.E.D.D. Trials and eliminate zombies to earn score. The first team to reach the score limit wins. Players can get their hands on the Ray Gun and play on the following maps: Roadkill, Inferno, Lost.
• Hordepoint: A returning mode featuring a variant of Hardpoint. Hold the objective to score and turn Zombies friendly towards your team.
• Freeze Tag: A returning mode where two teams of six must freeze the opposite team. Players can unfreeze their teammates by damaging the ice around them.

Season 6 Ranked Play also arrives at launch, featuring new rewards like Camos, Blueprints, and much more.

Zombies Content

Rex Infernus Directed Mode arrives day one, allowing players to complete the Main Quest through guided objective markers and round caps. Players to unlock the following Directed Mode rewards:

• Netherclaw Warden’s Blight Wonder Weapon Skin
• Rex Infernus Directed Mode Completion Calling Card

The Tenshu Survival Map drops at launch, taking players to the Tenshu Entrance, Onsen Baths, War Room, Storage Rooms, and Workshop areas of Kowakujo. It also features the following rewards:

• Mononoke Neko Calling Card by reaching Round 10
• Sleepy Cat Weapon Charm by reaching Round 25
• Wonderbar! GobbleGum by reaching Round 50

Rex Infernus’ Starting Room also drops at launch and allows players to earn the following rewards:

• Round Off GobbleGum by reaching Round 10
• Armor Gettin’ GobbleGum by reaching Round 20
• Fully Packed GobbleGum by reaching Round 30

Rogue Run also receives new updates, and players can earn the Warden as an Operator Skin as part of the Super Easter Egg rewards by completing every Main Quest in Black Ops 7 Zombies.

Call of Duty: Warzone Content

The Haunted Hollow map variant drops at launch, featuring a new Halloween-themed version of Haven’s Hollow for Warzone Resurgence. Content includes the following:

• New POIs like the Ghost Train, UFO low gravity effect at the Mansion, and much more.
• Trick or Treat Pumpkins that reward either a Zombies Power Up or some form of de-buff.
• A new Dark Ritual Easter Egg Quest

Giant Infected arrives as a limited-time mode and replaces the usual annual Zombie Royale Mode. In this mode, fallen players join the Zombies Team and must eliminate the Survivors.

Season 6 Resurgence Ranked Play also arrives at launch, featuring new rewards like Camos, Blueprints, and much more.

Global Content

New weapons and attachments arrive throughout Season 6, including the following:

• VMP SMG unlocked through the Battle Pass
• TR51 Para Assault Rifle unlocked through the Battle Pass
• Arcblade Melee Weapon unlocked through the Camo Costume Party Event
• Roc 20mm Special Weapon unlocked through the Doom Event Pass
• VS Rebound Havoc Repeater Attachment unlocked through Weekly Challenges
• Dravec 45 Aftermath Vertical Magazine Attachment unlocked through Weekly Challenges
• Sokol 545 Warpath Blitz Kit Attachment unlocked through Weekly Challenges

New events and rewards arrive throughout Season 6, which are as follows:

• Camo Costume Party Event: Complete Weapon Challenges to unlock new Camos, a Mastery Camo, and the Arcblade Melee Weapon
• DOOM Event Pass: Earn XP to unlock the Doom Slayer Operator, Roc 20mm Special Weapon, and more. It features a free and premium track
• New Battle Pass and BlackCell Pass featuring BlackCell Camo and Operator Bundle Challenges
• Ranked Series Season 6
