GTA 6 marketing has entered a new phase, and it’s legendary

GTA 6 is around the corner, and its marketing really is kicking into high gear after the Extended Look. Rockstar is planning a physical marketing campaign in real-life Miami, which Vice City is based on, but that’s not all.

Today, several artists have shared borderline cryptic images on their social accounts, but all these images have one thing in common: they’re all related to GTA 6.

At least eight artists have shared images teasing their involvement in GTA 6, including Travis Scott and the legendary Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones).

What a cool way to introduce one’s involvement in what is surely the biggest entertainment product of the decade.

The images seem to all be taken from GTA 6 key art and feature a sports car, an iguana, high heels, and even an empty pool. There’s no text to accompany most of these announcements, just the single image and a rapidly growing string of replies.

This comes after Stephen Root confirmed his involvement in GTA 6 (playing Brian Heder), and it’s currently unclear whether more artists and actors will follow suit.

What’s also unclear is whether these artists’ music will feature in GTA 6, or whether they have a larger role in the game at some point, perhaps related to Boobie Ike’s club and record label.

We were promised mind-blowing marketing, and having legends like Keith Richards post on X about GTA 6 is certainly fulfilling that promise. It all started with the stunning Extended Look, then all the preview content we were spoiled with, and now this.

It’s at the point where I can’t wait to see what’s next. This is definitely one of the most creative Rockstar marketing campaigns to date, and there’s no telling what else they have up their sleeve.

November 19 is just 64 days away now, which gives them plenty more time to drop additional marketing and further surpass expectations.
