EA Sports has revealed the roadmap for Season 1 in FC 27, and the first month is certainly going to be a blockbuster. There will be two different promos featuring upgradeable cards, a new season pass filled with rewards, and two TOTW teams.
Let’s check out what we can expect during the first six weeks of the game.
FC 27 Season 1 roadmap
The first season of FC 27 Ultimate Team will go live once the game’s early access begins. Here are highlights of the content we will have in the first season.
- Team of the Week 1 and 2. The teams will be based on the community votes.
- Ones To Watch themed players (SBCs and objectives)
- Challenge and Upgrade SBCs
- Evolutions
- Squad Foundations
- Opportunities to earn Season Points
Ones to Watch
Ones to Watch is back and bigger as we get to celebrate footballers who made a switch in the summer. A bulk of these cards will be available on the season pass, but you can also find them from SBCs and objectives. If you opt for the Premium version of the pass, you’ll get more cards.
All Ones to Watch item are entitled to get upgrades and improve in the future. The extent of the upgrades will depend on how they and their respective clubs perform in real life.
Ones We Watched
Single Player Live Events mark their debut in FC 27 with the Ones We Watched program. This will celebrate previous OTW promos from FUT 18, FUT 19, and FUT 20. As you defeat AI opponents, the opposition will become more challenging. You can win various retro cosmetic evolutions from those older promos.
Destined for Glory
The Destined for Glory will be making its debut in Ultimate Team on Sept. 25. Led by Kylian Mbappe, there will be plenty of special cards to look for. All the special items have been decided based on your votes in FC 26, and you can find the cards in backs on launch week.
Don’t forget to look for TOTW items that will also be live during the first season. Some of these cards would directly find a place in your Ultimate Team lineup.
