Cell is one of the Dragon Ball franchise’s most well known villains, in part because he possesses the DNA of many of the strongest fighters. At full power, Cell is a global threat who can wipe out a planet with a single Ki blast. It is almost impossible to kill him because he can fully regenerate if even a single cell survives. Cell is a powerful villain, but there are other anime villains who could defeat him in battle.
Many of the anime villains who can beat Cell are considered overpowered or God-tier in their respective universes. Some of these anime villains can destroy Cell with a single attack, while others need to be a bit more creative if they want to beat him. What sets these villains apart is their ability to destroy Cell’s cells in different ways, which would counter his regeneration.
Kaguya Otsutsuki From Naruto Could Reduce Cell to Dust With Her All-Killing Ash Bones Techniques
Many Naruto fans disapproved of Kaguya’s unexpected appearance, but no one can deny her strength. As a member of the Otsutsuki Clan, Kaguya possesses immense chakra reserves, powerful ocular abilities, and god-level techniques. If she went up against Cell, she could use Amenominaka to instantly teleport him to another dimension, far away from any Ki users. This means Cell couldn’t use Instant Transmission to return, leaving him trapped.
Kaguya’s All-Killing Ash Bones technique is one of the few justu that can one-shot a Kage because any living thing that gets hit disintegrates and turns to dust. This technique requires Kaguya to manipulate her bone structure, meaning she can use her bones as melee weapons or projectiles. Cell could easily dodge the projectiles, but if Kaguya can stab him by opening a dimensional rift, his body will turn to dust.
Grayroad From The Seven Deadly Sins Could Destroy Cell With Her Commandment
The Ten Commandments was a group of powerful demons in The Seven Deadly Sins, and Grayroad was one of its members. She may not be able to fight Cell physically, but she could curse him with various ailments that would severely weaken the android’s body to the point he could no longer fight. Grayroad has the power to create other demons that Cell could one-shot, which is exactly what she wants.
Grayroad was bestowed with the Commandment of Pacifism, which sounds harmless, but it is actually pretty deadly. Anyone who kills someone in Grayroad’s presence will immediately have their time stolen and rapidly age until they die. If Cell kills any of the demons that Greyroad creates, all the cells in his body will die out, meaning there would be nothing left of him to regenerate.
Garou From One-Punch Man Could Defeat Cell in His Cosmic Fear Mode
Graou is a major villain in One-Punch Man‘s second and third seasons, and he would likely relish a fight with Cell given how strong the android is. As a master martial artist, Garou is well versed in hand-to-hand combat, and thanks to his training, he now possesses superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, and durability. Garou may have mastered his own version of the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist fighting style, but Cell still wins.
Garou’s Cosmic Fear Mode is an entirely different beast. This state was influenced by a God, which is why Garou’s body looks like a cosmic entity. This form could clash with a serious Saitama, who could literally blow Cell apart with a single punch. Not only could Garou’s augmented punches do serious damage, he continuously releases lethal levels of cosmic radiation, which means Cell’s body would degrade and fall apart in a prolonged fight.
Zeref From Fairy Tail Can Destroy Any Living Thing With His Ankhseram Black Magic
Many fans believe Zeref should have been the final villain of Fairy Tail because he was the strongest and most evil mage in history. Cell could pummel Zeref with superhuman punches or blast him with Ki attacks and nothing ould happen because Zeref is cursed with immortality. Zeref has a myriad of powerful spells at his disposal, but it is his mastery of Ankhseram Black Magic that would take Cell down.
Ankhseram Black Magic allows Zeref to kill any living thing he desires. This magic is a major reason why Zeref is considered one of the most overpowered villains in shonen anime. If Cell dashed up to Zeref to land a few melee strikes, Zeref could use the Death Predation spell to create a wave that would instantly destroy everything around him. If he wanted, Zeref could temporarily freeze Cell with Immobilization Magic and hit him with a Death Orb, which destroys everything in its path.
Gilgamesh From the Fate Franchise Could Wipe Out Cell With His Strongest Noble Phantasm
The Fate franchise has many spin-offs and alternate timelines, and Gilgamesh is the primary villain in many iterations. Gilgamesh falls under the Archer Class, which is usually not considered that strong, but many claim he is the most powerful Heroic Spirit in history. Not only is Gilgamesh two-thirds god, he possesses the original weapons and Noble Phantasms of every mythological Hero.
Gilgamesh might have hundreds of legendary weapons at his disposal, but only one has the power to destroy Cell in an instant. Ea is an ancient drill-like sword that can tear reality apart under the right conditions. Cell can fully regenerate even if a single living cell survives, but Ea would literally erase him if he took a direct hit.

Charlotte Brulee From One Piece Could Destroy Cell Under the Right Conditions
Charlotte Brulee is Big Mom’s 19th child and one of the officers of the Big Mom Pirates. She may look scrawny, but Brulee is actually quite strong by One Piece pirate standards. That said, she would get snapped like a twig if she tried to fight Cell in a hand-to-hand exchange. Fortunately, Brulee has a Devil Fruit that could destroy Cell, but it needs to be used under the right conditions.
The Mirror-Mirror Fruit gives Brulee the ability to create mirrors with her hands, so she could create a reflection of Cell to fight on her behalf. This Cell copy couldn’t use Ki, but it would match Cell physically. If Cell tried to destroy the reflection with a Kamehameha, Brulee could step in and use her mirror to instantly reflect the blast back at Cell, thereby destroying him with his own attack.
Baraggan Louisenbairn From Bleach Could Destroy Cell When His Resurreccion Is Active
All the Espada in Bleach represent a different aspect of death, and Baraggan represents death brought about by time and old age. Baraggan’s standard Senescencia produces a time dilation field around his body, which means he could easily dodge Cell’s melee attacks even if he was moving at super speed. If Baraggan wants to actually beat Cell, however, he will need to release his Resurreccion.
Once activated, Baraggan assumes a skeletal form, and the strength of his Senescencia increases to the point where everything around him rapidly ages until it turns to dust. This power works on energy-based attacks as well, which means Cell’s Ki blasts would dissipate before they ever reach Baraggan. Cell might have incredible regeneration, but Baraggan could just walk up to him and cause his cells to decay until there was nothing left.
Frieza From Dragon Ball Super Has Achieved God-Like Power and Could Now Vaporize Cell
Frieza is the Dragon Ball franchise’s most iconic villain, and for a brief period, Cell was stronger. However, that has changed since Frieza’s resurrection and intense training regiment. No matter what form Frieza takes, he has the power to destroy a planet with a single attack, which means he can destroy a solar system just like Cell. That said, Frieza’s Golden and Black transformations surpass all his other forms in terms of overall power.
These forms place Frieza on the threshold of the Gods. His Golden form is on par with most of Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue transformations, while his Black form can overpower Goku’s Ultra Instinct form. Even Gods of Destruction have difficulty mastering Ultra Instinct. These versions of Frieza could pulverize Cell in an all-out melee fight, and his Ki blasts would vaporize Cell since they are far more powerful than the final Kamehameha that originally defeated him.
