A highly anticipated broadcast is starting soon, as the Silent Hill transmission is about to go live.
Silent Hill came back as one of the best horror games around, thanks to the success of the Silent Hill 2 Remake. Bloober Team have done an awesome job with this game, staying true to the core material while updating it for modern platforms. The interest in Silent Hill games was revived, and gamers have been pestering Konami with questions about some new titles. Back in 2022, Konami revealed that four new Silent Hill games are in the works and has been offering only bits and pieces of information since then. But now, something more concrete is on the way.
Silent Hill Transmission
Konami has announced that a transmission will be held on March 13.
“Please join us for the SILENT HILL Transmission, where we’ll share the latest news on the SILENT HILL series, streaming Friday, March 13 at 3:00pm PDT. This Transmission will focus on the upcoming SILENT HILL f.”
For the record, Silent Hill f is one of the four aforementioned projects. It is developed by NeoBards Entertainment and is a peculiar title since it will not be set in the titular town, in Maine, but rather will be set in 1960s rural Japan.
Other than that, we may hear about some more remakes, and fans even speculated that we may get some info about the Return to SIlent Hill movie. The two Silent Hill movies we already have had mixed reactions by the fans, but the new one will follow the story of Silent Hill 2. The production was allegedly over weeks ago, so it is not impossible that we get the official release date.
In conclusion, the whole gaming scene is excited for some more Silent Hill titles, be they games or movies. We’ll find out more pretty soon.
