Welcome to Elderfield has many Status Effects that remain active at all times during a fight, and they range between blessings and curses. Blessings are positive effects that amplify a specific power/attribute, while curses play negative roles.

All Blessings and Curses in Welcome to Elderfield explained
Blessings and Curses work based on stacks. Every stack activates +-10%, and most effects have a limit of maximum five stacks.

| Tax Boon | +10% Defense and Magic Defense |
| Burgeoning | +5% Crop quality |

| Greed | +10% Luck |
| Brutalism | +10% Attack |
| Stubbornness | +10% increased Defense |
| Zealotry | +10% magic attack |
| Skepticism | +10% magic defense |
| Daring | +10% agility |
| Panic | +10% hit rate |
| Angler’s Luck | +15% Fish |
Curses

| Heavy Eyelids | EXP Rate reduced to 85% |
| Insomnia | Healing effects reduced by 25% for two days |
| Doom | -10% Luck |
| Sickness | -10% Attack |
| Weakness | -10% Defense |

| Fear | -10% Hit Rate reduction |
| Carrion | Crows eat 10% more crops |
| Blight | Crop quality/quantity reduced by 10% |
