All new abilities in Risk of Rain 2 Hallowed Concepts and how to unlock them

The Hallowed Concepts DLC has added several new skills in Risk of Rain 2, and the new abilities have buffed several old Survivors. However, you’ll have to unlock these abilities first before you can enjoy them inside a game.

How to unlock all new skills in Risk of Rain 2 Hallowed Concepts DLC

We will begin with the new skill for Commando which is one of the easier ones to unlock.

Commando

The Commando has a special skill to unlock.

• Enable Karma before you begin a run.
• Whenever you complete any tasks on your run, you’ll get Karma. You can also add speed items to your build to earn more Karma in quicker time.
• You can also Karma by collecting 50 items and defeating specific enemies.
• Once you have eight Karma, you have to fight and defeat the Mithrix. This will be a tough fight so organize your build first.

Huntress

Huntress has a new secondary.

• You have to obtain an Artifact from Bulwark’s Ambry under 25 minutes.
• Get to Stage 5.
• You’ll find a Computer type thing in Sky Meadow.
• Enter any Artifact Code.
• Submit the code and enter the portal. Submit an Artifact Key to begin the trial.
• Kill enemies until you get another key and feed it to the Reliquary. Keep doing this until it dies.
• Pick the Artifact from the middle of the room and make sure to keep this under the 25-minute mark.

Engineer

The Engineer has a brand-new Primary called Laser Cutter that you can get by repairing an Equipment Drone with an Escape Pod’s Fuel Array.

• First, grab the foil area of your dropship.
• Since it’s volatile, it will explode if the health drops below 50%. Hence, try to avoid as much damage as possible.
• Find an Equipment Drone (appears randomly across different biomes) and repair it with the array.

Artificer

For the Artificer, we have a new utility called Tectonic Blast. To obtain it, we have to reach the final boss on the moon without activating a pillar. This is one of the easier ones because all you have to do is to avoid activating any pillar. Just use Ion Surge to reach the final boss.

REX

REX has a new utility named Proliferation, and you have to beat the game with at least five different Lunar items.

• For this, head to the Bazaar and grab any five Lunar items.
• You need five unique ones and copies won’t count.

Acrid

To get her new special Cloying Breath, you have to beat the game after creating at least one sequence with your items.

• You can sequence your items with a Shrine of Order.
• You will find the shrine after defeat the final boss on the Moon before the exit.
