Palworld 1.0 has added few new recipes to cook, and it includes four cakes. The cakes are far from any ordinary desserts, since they’re all tied to the expanded breeding system. Whether you want to get the overpowered mutated pals or simply want to improve the breeding capability of your pals, you’ll need to use cakes.
All new cake recipes in Palworld 1.0
There are four different cake recipes that were added to the game in Palworld 1.0. You have to unlock all four recipes from the Technology tab, and then craft them with the recipe requirements.
Mushroom Cake
The Mushroom Cake is available at Level 30, and here’s the list of required items.
- Flour x5
- Mushroom x5
- Cavern Mushroom x3
- Egg x8
- Honey x2
This cake allows you to raise the chances of receiving Pals with higher IVs from breeding. The resulting Pals will be able to grow their talents quicker than the normal variants.
Vegetable Cake
You can unlock the recipe for the Vegetable Cake at Level 47, and here’s the list of all the required recipes.
- Flour x8
- Tomato x8
- Lettuce x7
- Egg x8
- Honey x4
When placed in a breeding farm, your Pals will create two eggs simultaneously. If you’re looking to get Pals in quick without caring much about their quality, the Vegetable Cake is an effective option.
To unlock the recipe, you’ll need to reach Level 60. Here’s the list of resources you’ll need.

- Potato x10
- Onion x6
- Carrot x8
This is an important egg if you’re looking to get a Mutation. Adding this to your breeding program will result in higher chances for your Pal to create a Mutated egg. Mutated Pals will have better stats and Passives, making them pretty overpowered addition.
Special Cake
Once you reach Level 70, you can unlock this recipe from the Technology tab. Here’s the complete list of the required resources.

- Mammorest Meat x2
Adding this egg to your breeding program will raise the chances for your hatched Pal to inherit multiple passives from its Parents. In simple words, it works especially well with the new Mutation system, as you can reap the benefits of a Mutated Pal across multiple generations.
