The same thing happened with the much-rumoured Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, too. One of the worst-kept secrets in gaming – alongside the leaky Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake – the unannounced Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition popped up on the Australian Classification Board before we knew it existed. Then, on the 30th anniversary of the Rayman series, towards the end of last year, brand producer Loic Gounon spoke about the history of the series and provided a little teaser of what’s to come.

Series creator Michel Ancel further fueled speculation in February when he teased that a remake of the original Rayman game is on the way. It was finally formally announced a week later.

Just try to look surprised if/when this pops up during Summer Game Fest.
