ArcheAge Chronicles class tier list

Early access MMORPG ArcheAge Chronicles is now available for PC players, and one of the foremost task is to pick your class. The current build of the game offers four distinct classes with each having their own strength and weakness.

In this guide, I will help you figure out which class is ideal for you to pick.

Complete ArcheAge Chronicles class tier list

ArcheAge Chronicles has four different classes: Warrior, Ranger, Berserker, and Mage. I have used two different tiers to separate the four classes.

  • S-tier class represents the easier choices since they’re broken thanks to their in-game abilities.
  • A-tier classes are decent alternatives, but you’ll need to pay more focus to your builds.

S-tier

  • Mage: The most popular class of the earlier focus test is immensely strong in the full version. With different elemental abilities in her kit, the Mage can dish out huge numbers in damage from range. There are plenty of different ways to build around with this class, offering you a lot of flexibility. Just be careful not to go too close to enemies since health isn’t your greatest asset.
  • Warrior: The Warrior is the premier melee class in the current build of the game. Back in the focus tests, melee was feeble compared to ranged choices. Now, it’s slightly different, as the Warrior enjoys better attack and defense. Just like the Mage, you can try out different builds with this melee class.

A-tier

  • Berserker: The Berserker is the easiest class to learn the game. It offers a simple game style that allows you to stay alive for a long time. Your role is simple: dive in, take damage, be the frontline, and outlast the battle. You can also go for a hybrid build to add damage to your kit if you like. However, a full tank build is something I will recommend for this class.
  • Ranger: While this class hasn’t received any notable nerf, I feel that the Warrior is slightly better. That said, the Ranger is strong when it comes to raw damage. You can kill enemies even before they can pick your presence, which is definitely a good trait for beginners. However, you’ll have to be careful not to get in proximity of bigger enemies.
