Avatar: Seven Havens launches exclusively on Paramount+ on October 9. Paramount announced the release date alongside a teaser trailer at the Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 today.
Seven Havens is the new 2D-animated series from Avatar creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, with all 26 episodes set to drop on October 9. It revolves around a young Earthbender who discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm. In this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse.

At SDCC last year, Konietzko said this Earthbender was called Pavi, and introduced her cat monkey, Geet, and her mentor Jae, who is an Airbender. They live in a city called Allura.
Avatar: Seven Havens cast and characters
- Saheli Khan as Pavi
- Aishu Devan as Nisha
- Akshay Khanna as Karthik
- Major Curda as Jae
- Sakina Jaffrey as Agam
- Darren Barnet as Daemin
- Dianne Doan as Zi
- Dee Bradley Baker as Geet and Ruhi
Konietzko described Avatar: Seven Havens as “something totally different.” “We like to change up the style,” he continued. “We like to make each project its own thing. As you can see, it still feels like Avatar, but the world is very different. You’ll have to tune in to find out why.”
The Avatar: Seven Havens news comes just days before Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender — once due out in theaters on October 9 — hits Paramount+.
