Breeding has undergone some massive changes in Palworld since the launch of Version 1.0. Not only do we have new Pals (and some of them are extremely overpowered), but combo values have also changed from early access edition. With more combos than ever, breeding can be confusing.

I will list what I consider as the best breeding combos. I have also divided the tables into multiple categories, including beginner-friendly options and possible chains. \

Best breeding combos for beginners in Palworld 1.0

When you’re a beginner, you’ll find plenty of Pals pretty early in the game. You’ll also gain access to new options as you explore more areas. That said, here are some combos worth taking the extra steps.

Pal	Breeding Combo	Reason
Beegarde	Polapup+Jolthog Penking+Cinnamoth Nox+Hoodle	Early source of Honey, and you’ll find this Pal in advanced areas of the map.
Palumba	Vanwyrm+Wumpo Penking+Blazamut Yakumo+Dualith Noct	Not exactly “beginner” friendly, it’s still worth getting Palumba as early as you can due to its movement speed. You’ll save a lot of time by adding it as a mount.
Wumpo	Mossanda + Cinnamoth Penking + Sweepa Incineram + Elizabee	Wumpo is one of the best workers to add to your base,
Blazehowl	Penking + Dumud Celaray + Surfent Elphidran + Melpaca Penking + Mozzarina	Blazehowl is a strong Pal, but it’s also required in some of the most overpowered breeding combos. You can obtain it early instead of having to wait patiently to catch it from the map.
