Amongst the plethora of creatures to encounter, the Blushing Batterfly is one that many Palians have run into during their adventures in Palia.

All Blushing Batterfly Locations in Palia
The Blushing Batterfly is one of many unique butterfly species that Palians can encounter in the Elderwood, and as such, they must come prepared with enough Smoke Bombs, lures, and Buzzy Jars, the latter to track rare bugs. This light pink-hued butterfly may be a common rarity bug; however, it’s exclusively situated in a specific biome, namely the cave systems, of which they spawn more frequently at the Elderwood Central Stables.
Due to the behavior of the Blushing Batterfly, as they’ll flee when disturbed, the Sticky Smoke Bombs are preferable as these slow down bugs, which is great for those that dash around. However, if you do discover an infected Blushing Batterfly, you can use the Elderwood Smoke Bombs together with either the Elderwood Potion or the Bag of Illusion item for successful catches.
Don’t forget that catching and recording your first Blushing Batterfly will contribute progress towards the Advanced, Expert, and Master Bug Catcher Accomplishments. Catching bugs in general will add progression towards the Catch Bugs Accomplishments to earn Bug Catching Guild Medals.
Lastly, the Blushing Batterfly is one of the handful of bugs you may have a chance of acquiring from the Insect Mystery Bag. This specific Mystery Bag is one of the six bags that Palians can obtain by purchasing it with Infected Essence at Subira’s Goods shop at the Elderwood Central Stables.
How to Use the Blushing Batterfly in Palia
Now that you have successfully acquired a Blushing Batterfly, the next step is to consider how to use it, as there are quite a few ways. Firstly, it is a required item for the “A Flush of Blush” daily quest and the “Where the Hearth Is” quest, given to them by Tamala upon completion of the “Something Wicked” quest.
Regarding the latter quest, a Star-Quality variant is required, of which Palians must keep their eyes and ears open, as they do shine and make a chime-like sound to indicate their rarity. Speaking of Star-Quality Blushing Batterfly, they can be used as a furnishing: a terrarium containing the bug can be placed anywhere on the Housing Plot.
Gifting certain Villagers like Auni, Elousia, and Ulfe will increase your Friendship Level with these characters, so do gift them a Blushing Batterfly as a daily gift.
Lastly, the Blushing Batterfly can be used to craft two specific items: the QualityUp Fertilizer and the Calathea Tint. The blueprint for the tint is available by default when accessing the Tint Crafter workstation. The fertilizer blueprint can be obtained from Badruu ‘s Gardening Guild shop, where any bug, including the Blushing Batterfly, can be used at the Worktable, or you can place a sweet dish or fruit into the Worm Farm to produce the fertilizer.
