S.H. Figuarts has started preorders for a new Son Gohan figure, with the popular character dressed in his Android Saga outfit from Dragon Ball Z. Despite its final episode airing 30 years ago, the anime adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s manga series remains a massive part of the anime zeitgeist, with frequent merch collabs and new releases keeping Goku and the Z-Fighters perpetually in the limelight. Each year, tons of new Dragon Ball Z figures are released, and Gohan fans won’t want to miss adding this sleek statue to their shelves before it’s gone.
Over the years, Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts line has released a slew of impressive figures inspired by the Dragon Ball franchise, with the company’s Fourth Form Frieza figure recently kicking off preorders and already earning tons of praise from eager customers. Fusion Android 13, Dodoria & Zarbon, Bardock, and a special edition of Legendary Super Saiyan Son Goku are also getting figure releases later in 2026, with this new Son Gohan statue rounding out an already exciting year for collectors.

S.H. Figuarts’ Son Gohan Figure Effortlessly Captures the Character’s Energy
The official Tamashii Nations website has kicked off preorders for the Son Gohan Limited Edition Z-Fighters figure, which is scheduled to be released in November 2026. Depicting the character in his Android Saga outfit, the figure features a newly sculpted and articulated design, particularly in the shoulder area, allowing a larger range of motion. The figure will come with three pairs of interchangeable hands, three interchangeable expressions, and an interchangeable head, along with a stand, and will measure approximately 105mm (around 4.1 inches) in height. It’s unclear how much the figure will cost in North America, but its price in Japan is listed as ¥7,700 (around $48). Prospective buyers are asked to keep an eye on the Tamashii Nations page for further updates regarding its international release.
The finale of Dragon Ball Z in 1996 wasn’t the end for the franchise’s appearance on the small screen, with multiple spin-offs culminating in the recently aired Dragon Ball Daima. The series, which aired from October 2024 until February 2025, was the last anime adaptation to have a story written by Toriyama, who passed away shortly before its release. Fans are now eagerly awaiting Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, slated to air in Fall 2026, and Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, which will follow at some point in the future. Currently in production, the latter is a direct sequel to the Universe Survival Arc.
The world of video games has also not seen an absence of Dragon Ball content, with 2024’s Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero continuing to see updates. In April, the massive Super Limit Breaking NEO update was revealed, which promises to overhaul much of the game and will include over 30 new characters. Fans can also expect new customization items, five new stages, a new game mode, and more when the update launches this summer. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is also on the way, and is set to launch at some point in 2027.

Those wanting to show their love for Dragon Ball while out and about may want to check out the recent collab with the Japanese apparel brand Graniph, which is packed with everything from T-shirts and messenger bags to wallets and sweatpants. While many items have sold out, a restock is planned for the majority of goods. It’s likely that more Dragon Ball items from S.H. Figuarts are just around the corner, so dedicated fans should keep an eye out throughout 2026 and beyond.
