Emily Beth “Emiru” Schunk has accused fellow Twitch star Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo of sexual assault, abuse, and blackmail threats involving dead pets, among several other allegations. The claims provide new context for the Twitch streamers’ previously private relationship.
Fans had speculated that the pair began dating around January 2022, shortly after Mizkif’s public breakup with Maya Higa. Around this time is when Emiru joined Mizkif’s One True King streaming organization as content creator, moving into the OTK mansion in Austin, Texas. A year later, she became a co-owner of OTK. In an October 25 stream, Emiru confirmed that she was indeed in a relationship with Mizkif, indicating that they broke up around early 2025. “For the entirety of this year, I have attempted to separate myself from him and not talk about him,” she said.

Emiru decided to end this silence after learning of some new incidents involving Mizkif that resemble things he had allegedly done to her. “I cannot in good conscience sit here knowing that I know critical information about someone that almost no one else does and not say anything,” the streamer said. She then accused Mizkif of sexually assaulting her during one of her vulnerable episodes, saying the incident started with him trying to comfort her while she was crying, only to eventually try taking advantage of her. “He tried to climb on top of me and aggressively shoved his hand down my pants, and I screamed,” Emiru recounted—days after she was assaulted at TwitchCon 2025.

During the October 25 broadcast, Emiru shared several messages from Mizkif, suggesting he repeatedly tried to reconcile after she cut off contact, while simultaneously exhibiting controlling and abusive behavior. She also accused him of blackmail threats, albeit without substantiating them with a similar level of evidence. One alleged incident occurred at TwitchCon, where Mizkif reportedly approached one of her employees and threatened to “destroy” her if she ever spoke about him. “Multiple people have told me that his plan was to claim that I kill animals, and that I killed my own rabbits, since I had several of my rabbits pass away over the course of three years while I lived with him,” she said.

Mizkif Admits to Some of Emiru’s Allegations, While Rejecting Others
Mizkif live-streamed a 40-minute response within hours of Emiru airing her accusations. During the broadcast, he appeared to admit to some of the allegations, including claims of controlling behavior, saying he told her to stop wearing pajamas and to “dress older,” avoid certain people, and not travel without him. “This is because I didn’t want her to get hurt,” he said. Regarding the sexual assault allegation, Mizkif disputed Emiru’s characterization of the encounter. He said the incident occurred after they broke up, but was preceded by “about 30 minutes” of cuddling and kissing, which he claimed she was comfortable with—something Emiru acknowledged on her own stream. “I started to advance to the next stage because I thought that’s what she wanted,” Mizkif said. The rest of his retelling aligns with what Emiru said: she screamed, he stopped and left in a hurry.
Mizkif Insists Emiru Neglected Her Pet Rabbits
During the response broadcast, Mizkif insisted that Emiru exhibited “disgusting neglect” toward her pet rabbits. He claimed he repeatedly urged her to take better care of them while they were living together in the OTK mansion. Mizkif expressed regret that he didn’t end the relationship sooner, saying he didn’t know how to break up after things were obviously not working. While Emiru claimed she was filing a restraining order against him during her October 25 stream, Mizkif denied stalking her, adding that he hopes for “nothing but the best for Emi.”
