Everyone Fell In Love With Ash Salt Cookie’s Design In Cookie Run Kingdom (Now Here’s The Build That Makes Her Even Better)

Ash Salt is a new Epic that has joined the ever-growing Cookie roster in Cookie Run Kingdom. Despite being an Ambush-type character, she feels a bit weaker compared to certain Epics like Salt Caller, Pavlova, Grapefruit, and higher-rarity units.

I tested Ash Salt in Today’s Bounty and Trial Grounds high-level boss fights, such as Fainted Forest Druid (Lv. 13) and Desert Paradise of Life (Stage 8), and she got knocked out by small mobs before even reaching the final boss. That said, she is definitely strong in certain game modes, which we’ve covered below, especially when you place her in the right team. Here are the best builds for Ash Salt Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom based on her strengths and weaknesses.

From my experience with her, I found Ash Salt Cookie to be well-suited for World Exploration (Crispia, Beast Yeast, and the new chapter, Timeline of Fate) as well as Arcade Arena.

She can also be used in Kingdom Arena runs, particularly when paired with Timekeeper Cookie (for example, in Rewound Glory 1 season, she appears in loadouts within the top 30 rankings), and in Epic-only PvP modes like Battle of the Epics.

Ash Salt’s skill is called Ashen Assassin, and she deals Dark elemental damage to enemies. When using her, you’ll have an advantage against bosses since she deals increased damage to them, but make sure you have a fully-built healer (such as Pure Vanilla) on your side to keep her protected from incoming hits.

She starts the fight by turning into Shadow Form for 10 seconds and attacks everything in her path with her fork. During those 10 seconds, her normal attacks add Ashen Salt damage on every hit (35.4% per second), and she finishes with a final hit that deals 208.9% of her ATK. If an enemy is defeated during this time, Ash Salt gets Salt Crystals, which help her go back into Shadow Form faster by reducing her cooldown.

All Raspberry Toppings (S-Tier)

The best toppings for Ash Salt Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom are either five Chrono Raspberry or five Searing Raspberry, with a focus on ATK, Cooldown, or CRIT substats. You should also use a Searing Raspberry Tart M to fill the sixth slot.

Although this is an attack-focused build, she has a 14-sec cooldown, so you can also aim for full Cooldown substats. She is a fragile unit, so you want her to deal as much damage as possible, as quickly as possible.

If Ash Salt feels too slow in fights and the Cooldown substats in the build above are not helping much, you can switch to an Attack plus Cooldown mix deck. In this loadout, equip two Chrono Raspberry and three Chrono Chocolate, along with one Searing Raspberry Tart M. For substats, you can go for ATK, Cooldown, or CRIT, but ATK or CRIT is recommended for this build.

Players can easily snag the resonant variant from the Event Shop in exchange for crystals or by playing seasonal events like Clockwork Cogs and Path of Timelines. This is available while the Timeline of Faith update is active, so make sure to grab it before it’s gone, and you are left with only the normal variants.

Since this Cookie uses Darkness damage, the ideal Beascuit for her is the Legendary Dark Crispy Beascuit. However, that can be hard to grab for some players, so generally, you can equip the Legendary Crispy Beascuit on Ash Salt Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom. Here’s a quick peek at which substats to focus on for each build:

  • 6-piece Raspberry: Legendary Crispy Beascuit (DMG Resist + Cooldown)
  • 3 Chocolate + 3 Raspberry: Legendary Crispy Beascuit (DMG Resist + ATK)
