EA Sports has announced server maintenance for FC 26, and it will impact all the online services. This appears to be routine maintenance ahead of Season 10, which will be the last major season for this year’s title.
Thankfully, EA Sports has also given out key details regarding today’s maintenance, including when the servers will be restored.
FC 26 server maintenance details (August 12)
Today’s server maintenance begins at 1am PDT/3am CDT/4am EDT/8am UTC. Matchmaking has already been disabled, so any attempts will result in a failure. This applies for all matches that are based on online matchmaking.
The maintenance will last for two and a half hours. The servers will be back online at 3am PDT/5am CDT/6am EDT/10:30am UTC. However, there can always be delays that can take place at the last moment. Once the servers are online, all game modes will be available.
While the maintenance is live, modes like Ultimate Team will be unavailable. If you manage to log in, matchmaking will result in an error. However, you can still use the Web App/Companion App to complete SBCs in the meanwhile.
If you still want to play, you can try the Manager Mode. The Manager Mode doesn’t have any form of online matchmaking, so you can still play it while the maintenance is live. You can choose a club of your liking and take it all the way to a championship. There are several Live Event objectives available as well that you can complete to earn Seasonal rewards.
Once the servers are back, you can resume your online journey in Ultimate Team, as we are one day away from Season 10.
