Sprites are here to stay, and with Generation 2 coming in Fortnite Override (C7S4), you’re going to have even more of a rush to find them all. With all Sprites, Cheat Master Sprites, and other variants on the way in the coming weeks, finding and extracting them is a top priority, which is why you need Extraction Accelerators. Below, we’ll share what this unique gizmo does, how you can use it, and where you can get more of them!
You can get Extraction Accelerators by completing 3 Override Daily Quests. These quests will reset at 10 AM EST, and you can check what they are by heading to the Quests tab and navigating down to This Season – Override.
The Daily Quests are usually the same and consist of the following:
- Extract 5 Sprites.
- Find and enter 3 Cheat Codes.
- Purchase 5 items or services at Sprite Dust Service Stations (Extraction Sites).
Once you complete 3 Daily Quests, the Extraction Accelerator will be added to your Gizmos, so don’t worry, you can’t ever lose it! If you get eliminated, the Extraction Accelerator cannot be stolen by other players, as it’s exclusive to your account, not your loadout.
When you want to use an Extraction Accelerator, head to an Extraction Site. At the panel where you can call for an Extraction Crate, you will want to press Triangle/Y instead of Square/X, as this will summon an Accelerated Crate.
The Extraction Accelerator summons the Accelerated Crate, which is summoned within three seconds (instead of over 30 seconds) and remains completely silent, meaning it won’t alert other players to your location as you attempt to extract your rare Sprites!
Even though you can get Extraction Accelerators through Daily Quests, I would recommend using them sparingly. These are great items to use if you’re in a hurry, like if you’re trading with another player, or if you don’t have a Portable Extractor and you just want to get your new Sprite to safety without the whole lobby chasing after you.
