Rockstar Games have revealed the pre-load date and time for Grand Theft Auto 6. You better be prepared to clear out some storage space, and burn the midnight oil.
Per the official Rockstar Games website, Grand Theft Auto 6 will be pre-loadable starting on the 10th November. On PlayStation 5, it’ll be available starting at midnight in your local time, but on the Xbox Series X/S, it’ll be 12am GMT on the 10th November. So, please refer below for some common time zone equivalents:
- 4pm PDT – 9th November
- 7pm EDT – 9th November
- 1am CEST – 10th November
- 9am JST – 10th November
- 8am CST (Beijing) – 10th November
In total, you’ll need 212GB free on your console in order to download it. So it’s probably a good idea to say your fond farewells to any beloved single player games or tried-and-true live service titles sitting on your consoles.
On the Rockstar Games support site, detailed instructions on how to pre-load GTA 6 on both Xbox and PlayStation are present. On the PlayStation Store you’ll need to find the game on the digital store and pre-order the game. On the Xbox Series X/S, the same is true. Simply navigate to the store and pre-order it to proceed with the download.
This comes shortly after the chunky size of Grand Theft Auto 6 were discovered, as well as a sneak peak at stool-related violence from a South Park episode and the announcement that Rockstar Games employees will have a chance to officially recognise a developer union. So, it’s a busy time to say the least.
