Here’s How to Easily Get the Agarthan Device Relic in Totenreich

The Agarthan Relic is a Wicked Relic, and when activated, zombies will spawn as different variants each round. This means that you could have Normal Zombies on one round, Acid Zombies on the next, and Frost Zombies on the one after, making for a fun and randomized process.

To get the Agarthan Relic, you need to be playing on Tier 2 Cursed in Totenreich, and you also need to collect quite a few items. We’ll explain the full steps for the Agarthan Relic, along with tips to make the Agarthan Relic Trial a piece of cake!

This Relic can be unlocked on Cursed Mode Tier 2+, on Round 15. We’re not sure if this is a bug or not, since all Wicked Relics require you to be on Round 60 except for this one.

How to Get All Totenreich Relics in Black Ops 7 Zombies

There are 6 Relics in Totenreich, and you’ll find out how to easily unlock them all with this guide for Black Ops 7 Zombies.

How to Get the Agarthan Device Relic in Totenreich

To get the Agarthan Device Relic, you will need to be playing on Totenreich as Richtofen as your chosen Operator (or have someone on your team play as Richtofen). You will first need to collect three parts:

Mr. Peeks Location

You need to enter Tyr’s Head from either Tyr’s Shoulder or Tyr’s Foot (you can enter Tyr’s Head twice per round). From inside, use one of the exit tubes, and you will have a random chance to be teleported into the Liberty Falls hotel.

If you manage to teleport into the hotel room, immediately run to the right side of the bed and go prone, where, by the bedside table, you can find Mr. Peeks under the bed, which you can then collect.

Soldier Helmet Location

This is the second part you need for the Agarthan Device, and it’s also acquired through teleporting in Tyr’s Head. Every time you enter the tube to exit, you have a random chance to teleport to a small room with the dead Requiem crew around a table.

As soon as you teleport into the Requiem room, head to the shelf on the south wall and go prone in front of the Point Turret. There’s a small box on the bottom shelf containing the helmet that you can pick up.

Walkie-Talkie Location

The Walkie-Talkie is the last part you need for the Agarthan Device, and you can get it from the Group 935 Genetic Lab. This is a secret room accessed via an ARC-XD. Head to the Core Foundry and enter the warehouse that’s upstairs of the VS Recon Wallbuy, where you will find a vent in the northwest corner that can be shot out.

With the vent now opened, use the ARC-XD to go down the stairs and across the ramp, where you can detonate it against the barrels blocking the wall. Return to Fishery Island, and to the left of Pack-a-Punch, you can enter the Group 935 Genetic Lab.

Inside, you can find the south corridor that has numbers from 1 to 5. These numbers are translated into letters (1=A, 2=B, and so on). You need to locate the two numbers with a radiation sign underneath and translate them into letters.

Once translated, look around the room for heads in jars which are labelled with a letter. Pick up the heads in a jar that correlate to your numbers, and place them on the machine by the cell to get a purple gas canister, which can be placed on the creature on the north table to get the Necrospike.

Take the Necrospike to the cell and lockpick it by using the Right Stick to angle the pins in the correct position. Once unlocked, head into the cell and go prone underneath the cell bench to find a Walkie-Talkie on the left.

Activate the Agarthan Device Relic Portal

Once you’ve acquired all three parts, you will need to head to the Core Foundry as Richtofen. Make sure it’s Round 15+ and have Melee Macchiato, as you will need to melee the standing barrel to the left of the Mystery Box. This will open the barrel’s lid, and you can interact with it to dig inside, where you can then pick up Richtofen’s medal.

This will teleport you into the Richtofen Side Easter Egg. You will need to progress until you meet Von List, who is sitting on a throne. Once this conversation ends, you can approach the throne and interact with it to place Mr. Peeks. All that’s left to do is exit the side easter egg and enter the Agarhtan Device Trial in the Dry Dock, to the right of PhD Flopper.

The Agarthan Device Relic makes it so that zombies can only be damaged indoors. We’ll showcase how we managed to complete this challenge below.

How to Complete the Agarthan Device Relic Trial

For the trial, we came prepared with Toxic Growth, the Urticant Major Augment, the Extra Charge, and the Ankle Shredder Minor Augment. We also made sure that we had all Perks, and most importantly, the Tier 4 Pack-a-Punch Jotunn Star.

Our method was to immediately start the trial and sprint to Beacon Island, where we camped on the second floor of the Lighthouse. We placed the Toxic Growth Field Upgrade in front, and spammed the Jotunn Star melee attack to kill the slowed zombies.

We repeated this for all rounds, including Wave 3 and Wave 6, where you have to kill HVTs (which consist of a Zursa Bear and 2 Necropincers). Just focus on using Toxic Growth when you have it, and spamming Jotunn Star attacks, and you’ll find this trial a breeze.

What Does the Agarthan Device Relic Do, and Is It Worth Using?

The Agarthan Device Relic is worth using over other Wicked Relics, as there’s no real downside to its effects compared to other Wicked Relics that remove Augments, provide zombies with double damage, and other effects that can directly impact your round clears.

All the Agarthan Device Relic does is make it so that the zombie spawns are randomized, meaning you can have Normal Zombies for one round, Frost Zombies for another round, and Acid Zombies for the next. This layer of randomization adds an element of charm, even if that comes with a higher risk of elemental damage.
