Windrose has different ways for you to gain resources and rewards, and Faction Reputation Points will help you to get some of them by completing various tasks. You’ll be introduced to four different factions as you progress along the main campaign.

Getting Faction Reputation Points will help you to improve your standing with them and get more rewards. Let’s find out how to obtain these points.

How to earn Faction Reputation Points in Windrose

Before you can earn Reputation Points, you’ll need to unlock factions. You have a relationship with every faction, and you begin at level one. As of writing in early access, the upper limit is four for every faction.

To earn these points, you’ll need to hand over special items to Bounty Agents. You’ll find an agent associated with each of the four factions. You’ll need to find the main base for the factions, and then interact with the bounty agent to hand them the special items. Some, like the People of Tortuga, can be pretty tricky to find on the map.

Insignias are random drops in Windrose that you can find when you defeat different enemies. You’ll have higher chances of getting an Old Salt or Veteran Insignia from tougher enemies, but they will be significantly harder to take down.

Insignias can be found in a pretty routine fashion as long as you’re actively engaging in combat.
