How to Get Infergon in Aniimo


In Aniimo, Infergon is one of the two branching evolutions of Jawling and Helmwhelp, with the other being Helgon.

Unlike Helgon, there is no way to catch Infergon in the wild. The only way to get it is through evolution. However, the conditions to evolve a Helmwhelp into an Infergon are extremely tricky. Here’s how it works.

Jawling can evolve into Helmwhelp at level 38, and Helmwhelp can evolve into Infergon at level 48 using a Blaze Stone by completing the following requirements:

  • Defeat the Omega Infergon: Omega Infergon is a boss that appears at the conclusion of the Warrior: Russet Highlands quest where you “pull out the Sword of Bravery.” For more details, check out our “How to Pull Out the Sword of Bravery” guide.
  • Potential reaches the Perfect rating: Only the Jawling or Helmwhelp that has Perfect Potential can evolve into Infergon.

How to Get a Perfect Potential Jawling or Helmwhelp in Aniimo

The tricky part about the Infergon evolution is finding a Jawling or Helmwhelp with Perfect Potential. Both of these Aniimo can be found in large numbers in the Russet Highlands region. To get Perfect Potential, there are a couple of ways you can go about it.

  • Use a Sparkling Cube: If you catch any Aniimo with the Sparkling Cube, it is guaranteed to have Perfect Potential and the Sparkling status. However, Sparkling Cubes are very hard to come by, and wasting them on a non-Prismana or Aniimo event may not be the best idea.
  • Hunt a Perfect Potential Jawling or Helmwhelp Normally: Stock up on Aniipods and Aniipod Pros and start catching Jawling and Helmwhelps in the Russet Highlands en masse. From our experience, it takes roughly 200-300 catches before you get a Perfect Potential Aniimo this way. Buckle up for a grind.

The fastest method to catch Jawlings in large numbers that I’ve found is to first teleport to the Twister Peaks fast travel point, then head northwest to (-0301, 1859).

Here, you’ll find a large gathering of Jawlings in a clearing. All you have to do is throw Aniipods at them until you catch them all, then repeat from the start.

Mountain Form Jawlings or Helmwhelps cannot evolve into Infergon; only Basic Forms can do that. If you’re using a Sparkling Cube, make sure you don’t accidentally use it on one of these. A telltale sign to identify Mountain Forms is that they tend to have a more golden tint to their skin compared to the chrome seen in Basic Forms.
