In Moonlight Peaks, Rose Quartz is used to make Glass, a key material required for game progression. However, getting Rose Quartz can be tricky because it is only found in a single, hidden location in the game world, and it is very easy to miss. Here’s the breakdown.
How to Get Rose Quartz in Moonlight Peaks
Rose Quartz Location
In Moonlight Peaks, Rose Quartz can be mined using an Iron Pickaxe or better in the Crystal Cave. The Crystal Cave can be found west of Fiona’s House in the Moonlit Pines area, north of where your farm is located.
From the campfire south of Fiona’s House, go west until you see a small natural pool. From here, go north until you see the stairs leading up to the upper level. Just to the right of the stairs will be a large stone you can break using a Copper Pickaxe or better, and the Crystal Cave’s entrance will be just behind it.
Inside, you’ll find two types of deposits: the pink-colored stones are Rose Quartz, and the blue-colored stones are Moon Crystals. Both can be mined using an Iron Pickaxe.
How to Make Glass in Moonlight Peaks
Step 1: Turn Rose Quartz into Quartz Dust
To make Glass, you’ll first need to process Rose Quartz in an Enchanted Mortar to get Quartz Dust. The Enchanted Mortar’s recipe is unlocked during “The Need for Herbs” story quest, where you’ll need to crush Nightshade into Nightshade Powder for Luna.
