Iroi is one of the best supports in NTE, as she offers both healing and DMG-amplifying abilities during combat. She also offers a buff to the Blossom reaction, which further expands on what she can do as a support. That combination allows her to become a universal support that offers so much utility for her team. In this guide, I’ll go over Iroi’s best teams and explain why I chose these characters over the rest.
Iroi Best Teams
Generally speaking, Iroi fits into almost every team in NTE. She’s a support that can offer healing for the entire team, with the ability to revive fallen allies. That alone already grants her a spot everywhere. She also has multiple universal buffs through her kit and build, making her stronger everywhere. However, Iroi’s kit still allows her to perform better in some teams than in others. Here are the best teams she works with:
- Iroi Premium Team: Iroi + Zero + Shinku + Hathor
- Iroi Blossom Team: Iroi + Zero + Nanally + Jiuyuan
- Iroi F2P Team: Iroi + Zero + Hathor + Haniel
Iroi + Zero + Shinku + Hathor
Shinku has one of the best teams in NTE, but there were multiple problems. The team didn’t have sustain besides Zero’s healing, and no way to amplify the team’s DMG. That all changes with Iroi, as she replaces Nanally to offer more off-field support. Iroi has the kit to push Shinku further while providing healing to the entire team. Her ability to copy the Vita Bud allows the Blossom reaction to persist longer on the field, making the most of Hathor’s Remora reaction.
Speaking of Hathor, in this Iroi team, Hathor and Shinku both share field time since they can serve as useful DPS. Shinku is going to spend more time on the field, as you need to deplete her Ultimate whenever she casts it. Meanwhile, Hathor needs to complete her Esper Cycle to trigger Remora with Zero. Of course, the best way to do that is by using Hathor’s best moves, which can deal a lot of damage.
Zero is an important unit for this Iroi team, as they can work with minimum field time. Zero only needs to use their Skill, instantly filling their Esper Cycle, which in turn triggers Blossom with Iroi. Now, the field is clear for Hathor to trigger Remora, and for Shinku to become a hyper DPS that benefits from everything else.
Iroi + Zero + Nanally + Jiuyuan
I created this team for fun, as I thought it would be fun to watch Iroi unlock the full potential of Nanally and Jiuyuan’s Blossom reaction. Surprisingly, that team was way too powerful, as Vita Pistils started flying everywhere whenever anyone created a Blossom reaction. Given that Nanally is a strong main DPS, she carries a big chunk of the team’s DPS. Add to that Nanally, Iroi, and Jiuyuan’s passives that buff the reaction even if they weren’t part of the duo that triggered Blossom. That means adding Zero is essential for that team to create even more Blossom reactions.
What’s happening is that a Blossom reaction creates two Vita Buds instead of one because of Jiuyuan’s Blossom passive buff. After that, each Vita Bud will attack once every second instead of once every two seconds because of Nanally’s buff. This is all normal until you add Iroi’s passive effect that copies every Vita Bud after three seconds, and those copies shoot twice per second. Basically, every Blossom reaction will create four Vita Buds that will launch a total of six Vita Pistils per second, literally spamming the field with homing projectiles.
Iroi + Zero + Hathor + Haniel
You can also create an F2P team around Iroi by adding top-tier characters like Hathor and Haniel. Zero is just too good and too free to miss out on. The idea of this Iroi team is to focus Haniel and Iroi’s buffs on Hathor, while also using the reactions to add another layer of buffs. Haniel and Hathor will trigger Stain, which debuffs enemies to take 20% more Lakshana DMG from Hathor. Zero, Hathor, and Iroi will trigger Charge, which refills Hathor’s Ultimate as quickly as possible, greatly improving the team’s rotation, especially with Zero on the field.
