Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episodes to Screen Early in Theatres With Shibuya Arc Compilation Film This Year

Jujutsu Kaisen fans will get to see Season 3 before its January 2026 premiere, thanks to a theatrical release that pairs the first two episodes with a Shibuya Arc compilation film.

Announced alongside the new teaser, the film is titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution and hits Japanese theatres on November 7, followed by a North American release on December 7 through GKIDS. The screening will include a recap of the Shibuya Arc as well as a sneak peek at the opening episodes of the upcoming Culling Game Arc.

Release details for other regions, including India, have not been confirmed yet. Given the series’ popularity and the success of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in Indian theatres, it’s likely this screening will do even better now.

A poster for the compilation has also been shared, which you can check out here:

This format isn’t new for shonen anime. Demon Slayer has done it multiple times, bundling recaps with previews before eventually moving into a full theatrical trilogy for its final arc. Jujutsu Kaisen now seems to be following the same strategy.

Until then, you can catch up on Jujutsu Kaisen through Ani-One Asia, Crunchyroll (including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs), and Netflix.
