At launch, Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD has plenty of different spells to use to kill the enemies. While each spell has its own use-case scenario, some of them are better. In this guide, I will discuss which spells are better to use, and which ones are rather avoidable.
Complete Kingdom Rush 6 spells tier list
To separate all the spells, I have used three different tiers.
- S-tier spells have the best use-case applications. They’re overpowered, and you’ll be using them frequently across the stages.
- A-tier spells are strong, but you have to time their usage properly.
- B-tier spells are limited in their powers, and their usage potential is limited.
S-tier
| Spell | Reason |
|---|---|
| Reinforcements | This is arguably the best spell in the game since it can do an incredible amount of damage while providing support by stalling enemies. With upgrades, it can improve its damage, duration, and cooldown to make the spell far more powerful. |
| Aspect of Sol | Just like Reinforcements, Aspect of Sol is a great pick for its all-rounder capacities. You can summon an ally that deals damage while absorbing enemy attacks to protect your defense. |
| Gnome’s Shop | This is the best spell in the game when it comes to CC. It can freeze enemies and slow them down to give your Towers more time to show their prowess. You can also move the spell flexibly along the map, offering you a strategic advantage. |
A-tier
| Spell | Reason |
|---|---|
| Royal Edict | Royal Edict is a complete support spell that is not focused on summons or damage. Instead, it improves the rest of your towers and heroes. Doing so allows your towers to hit from a longer distance and do more damage. While I really love the Royal Edict, its use case will be limited at times. This is the only reason it’s on the A-tier. |
| Ace Musketeers | This is arguably the best long-range damage option out of every spell in the game. With upgrades, you can improve the attack speed, range, armor penetration, and base damage. With shrapnel rounds, you can also add a touch of area attack that stuns enemies upon impact, but the Ace Musketeers’ potential drastically goes down at lesser ranges. |
| Wintersong’s Wrath | This is the next best alternative to Gnome’s Shop if you are going for pure crowd control. Again, it can slow enemies by freezing them in place, allowing more time for your towers to take them down. However, its damage is not that great, which means you will be relying on your towers to do that part. |
| Teleportation Sigil | Mastering this skill is perhaps the biggest challenge, since you cannot damage enemies. Instead, you can change their position and get more time. Hence, you have to learn how to reposition those enemies to give yourself the biggest advantages. |
B-tier
| Spell | Reason |
|---|---|
| Rain of Fire | While the Rain of Fire has decent AoE damage, the other options mentioned above do it better. |
