Level Up Your Characters in Avatar Legends FAST with this Guide

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game takes players through a brawl featuring many popular Avatar characters like Aang, Korra, Katara, and more. However, when starting out, you may find that your characters’ HP is low and that their Energy Point Slots are locked. Both of these can be increased by leveling up your characters. Here’s how to level up your characters in Avatar Legends.

How to Level Up Characters in Avatar Legends

To level up your characters in Avatar Legends, you will need to earn XP. You will naturally get XP by winning fights in the Story Mode, and since leveling up your characters is exclusive to the games Story, you cannot earn XP by playing Online or the Arcade Mode.

However, there is one way that you can farm XP in Avatar Legends if you find yourself reaching a difficult point. If you replay some of the earlier Chapters of Avatar Legends, you can still earn XP towards your currently played Character. This means that if you want to just nudge your character a little further in their level to buff them up for the later Chapters, you could try replaying old levels.

Leveling up your characters in Avatar Legends has two main benefits. The first is simply increasing your overall Health, allowing you to last much longer in fights against other opponents. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game’s main Story Mode only gets more challenging as you continue playing, so the extra Health is a welcome upgrade. That’s not all, however, as leveling up your character also increases your Energy Point Slots.

Energy Points are used to perform EX Special Techniques and Super Techniques, and are earned during fights by the following actions:

  • Hitting with Special Techniques
  • Performing Throws
  • Landing Overhead or Low Attacks, or avoiding them using Flow Moves
  • Holding Flow Stance

You can unlock one additional Energy Point Slot per level for each character, with a maximum of 5 additional Energy Point Slots available.
