In the One Piece franchise, many of the most powerful characters owe their strength to proficiency with an armament of some kind, which usually takes the form of a sword. Due to their skill with these weapons and mastery of Haki, these characters are often remembered as powerful figures who were unparalleled in One Piece.

As such, the weapons themselves tend to be as legendary as their wielders, often belonging to one of the named weapons categories, or ‘Meito’. Although the strongest weapons in the world are the Supreme Grades, there are a few armaments that are notably powerful, but their classifications are currently unknown, so let’s break down which ones these are.

Napoleon Is One Of The Strongest Homies Of Them All

Wielder: Big Mom

As one of the terrifying Yonko and perhaps the most durable character we have seen so far, Big Mom is among the strongest characters in One Piece, and she wields a gigantic sword named Napoleon. Due to her Devil Fruit powers, she imbued the sword with a large chunk of her own soul, making this armament one of the strongest Homies of them all that had a life of its own but was also highly destructive. However, fans never got an official categorization, though Supreme Grade is not entirely off the table for this weapon.

Hassaikai Was Wielded By A True Monster

Wielder: Kaido

Even to this day, Kaido is considered by many to be the strongest opponent that Luffy has ever faced, and his main method of fighting was through the use of Haki and his massive iron Kanabo, Hassaikai. Despite owning one of the strongest Devil Fruits ever, Kaido primarily fought using Haki, and his Kanabo had been by his side since his early days in the Rocks Pirates, so it is entirely possible that, through Kaido’s many battles, the overall rank of this weapon grew to some of the higher grades.

Gryphon May Hold A Legendary Devil Fruit Ability

Wielder: Shanks

Despite being the greatest Haki user of the current age, Shanks is also one of the world’s strongest swordsmen who is considered to be an equal to Mihawk himself. His sword, Gryphon, has a storied history as his companion from when he was still a teenager, which has gotten many to think that it may be a Supreme Grade Blade in truth. Plus, his fight against Eustass Kid saw his Divine Departure attack take the form of a massive Gryphon before it was released, prompting many to think that this sword could have eaten the Gryphon Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, just like his brother’s blade and Cerberus.

Cerberus Has An Immensely Powerful Ability

Wielder: St. Figarland Shamrock

Just like his twin brother, Shamrock uses a sword as his main method of fighting, automatically making him one of the series’ strongest swordsmen. His sword, Cerberus, has eaten the legendary Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Cerberus Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, which gives him the power to call forth the legendary beast to do his bidding. Due to every member of the Figarland family having a similar blade, many fans believe that they all have Mythical Zoan abilities and could all even be Supreme Grade weapons.

Harald’s Sword Was A Gigantic And Powerful Weapon

Wielder: Harald

King Harald is remembered today as the strongest of the Old Era alongside Davy D. Xebec, and his main method of fighting was through his use of a massive broadsword. Due to his unparalleled mastery of Conqueror’s Haki and his overall strength, he is spoken of in the same breath as other legends like Xebec, Roger, Garp, and Whitebeard, and seeing as how two of these characters were confirmed to wield Supreme Grade weapons, many believe Harald did so as well.

Eclipse Was The Legendary Blade Of A Legendary Pirate

Wielder: Davy D. Xebec

Davy D. Xebec is known as the greatest pirate that time forgot, and his strength is among the greatest that the overall story has ever shown. Just like most other top-tier fighters, Xebec used a sword as his main method of fighting, with Oda revealing his saber, Eclipse, as one of the strongest weapons ever that could destroy entire sections of islands without even being imbued with Haki. Just like with Harald, Xebec’s placement alongside Roger and Whitebeard more or less confirms his armament as being a Supreme Grade weapon.

The Giant Sword Of Elbaf Is Still A Massive Mystery

Wielder: Unknown

When the Straw Hats finally arrived on the mythical land of the Giants, one thing stood out to fans when they saw the island in its entirety, and that was the monumental sword sticking out of it. Although subsequent chapters would reveal the titanic size of the Ancient Giants and even Loki’s massive size increase while within his Mythical Zoan form, the blade itself is still far too big to be used by anyone in the current story, so it and its overall grade classification remain a huge mystery.

Ragnir Is The Legendary Weapon Of Elbaf’s Ruler

Wielder: Loki

Ragnir was originally a massive warhammer that was fed the Ratatoskr Mythical Zoan fruit, bringing it to life and making it infinitely stronger since it could now inflict lightning and ice. This weapon stood guard over the Nidhogg fruit for generations, meaning that no Giant before Loki was ever deemed strong or worthy enough to take it up for themselves for 800 years, and its reputation is so legendary that even Imu himself recounts its presence. Ragnir is easily one of the strongest things in the One Piece story.

Nemesis May Be The Original Supreme Grade Weapon

Wielder: St. Nerona Imu

Of all the surprises to come after Imu’s full reveal, Nemesis has to be one of the biggest. This armament originally took the form of a polearm that appeared to be a Black Blade, though its most terrifying ability was that Imu could manipulate its true form on a whim by turning it into a mace, ball and chain, and, eventually, a massive blade called Nemesis, the Sword of Judgement. It’s a no-brainer that this weapon is a Supreme Grade, though some fans even believe that it exists on a level even above that.
