Explained for the very first time in One Piece Chapter 597 on August 30, 2010, Supreme King Haki has gone on to become an incredibly crucial aspect of the story in the post-timeskip. With the final saga of One Piece slowly building up the war against the World Government by introducing the concept of immortals who can only be wounded by Supreme King Haki, this power is absolutely crucial for Luffy and his allies going into the Great War.
To that end, One Piece’s Elbaf arc has officially set up Supreme King Haki for two more characters connected to Monkey D. Luffy, and these are Sanji and Hajrudin. The left arm of Luffy has already been confirmed to hold the power of the Supreme King inside him, but One Piece chapter 1191 also sets up Hajrudin for this ultimate power as the Elbaf arc hurtles towards its conclusion.
One Piece’s Elbaf Climax Lines Up Supreme King Haki For Sanji and Hajrudin
Within the ranks of the Straw Hat Pirates, Supreme King Haki was always going to be rare. Monkey D. Luffy emerged from the timeskip with full mastery over his Color of the Supreme King, but other than him, no one else showed the power to utilize it. This changed in the Wano Arc, where Zoro unknowingly tapped into Conqueror’s Haki and used it to defeat King. In Elbaf, however, Scopper Gaban, the left arm of the late Pirate King, explained in Chapter 1152 that both Zoro and Sanji held potential to wield the Color of the Supreme King. In the case of Zoro, this power had already awakened but not tamed. In the case of Sanji, this power is being actively suppressed due to his self-deprecation.

In One Piece Chapter 1187, which was released on July 6, 2026, in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump issue 32, Eiichiro Oda confirmed that Sanji held within him the power of the Supreme King Haki. Now it is up to the left arm of the future Pirate King to bring out this ability in the battle against Killingham and aid Luffy on his quest to become the Pirate King. Sanji gaining the Color of the Supreme King, and Zoro mastering it in the Elbaf arc, is a given. Both of them have been pitted by Eiichiro Oda against two of the most unique Holy Knights, those being Saint Sommers and Saint Killingham. In these battles, these two must master the Color of the Supreme King fully, because, as confirmed by Scopper Gaban in Chapter 1170, only the Color of the Supreme King stands as the ultimate weakness of the immortals of the One Piece world.

However, aside from Sanji, Hajrudin is another character who is set to gain the Color of the Supreme King before the end of the series. One Piece Chapter 1191, which was officially released on August 23, 2026, in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 39, made it quite clear to us that Hajrudin did not possess the Color of the Supreme King yet. However, it also tipped him off to become the next giant to wield this power after Loki.

Why Hajrudin Will Be A Supreme King Haki User In The Future
The reason why Hajrudin is set to be a user of the Color of the Supreme King is quite simple. Hajrudin is the son of King Harald, and as we know, Harald was the strongest giant of his time. Harald stood as the king of Elbaf who wanted to connect this country with the entire world, and eventually, this unique ambition of his manifested itself in the form of the Color of the Supreme King. Harald’s Supreme King Haki was immensely powerful, as he was able to match Rocks D. Xebec in battle. This goes to show that he was a true conqueror with immense abilities up his sleeve. Harald’s Conqueror’s Haki was also passed on to Loki, as was clearly seen in One Piece Chapter 1170, and it has been consistently put on display ever since Loki Vs Imu began in Chapter 1180.
Just as Harald’s Supreme King Haki was passed on to Loki, it is also going to be passed on to Hajrudin. Hajrudin is royalty, and this Color of the Supreme King is latent within him. However, more than that, Hajrudin also has Kingly ambition, as confirmed by Eiichiro Oda himself. Hajrudin wants to become the King of all Giants of the world and unite all the Giant Tribes together.

Currently, in the world of One Piece, the relationship between giants isn’t exactly good. Giants outside of Elbaf are looked down upon, and this sentiment is likely reciprocated by the Giants of other countries towards Elbaf. It is Hajrudin’s goal to unite all the giant races and become their King. In other words, Hajrudin intends to become the King of all Giant Kings, and this is an incredibly grand ambition that has most certainly granted him the Color of the Supreme King. Hajrudin also intends to follow in Harald’s footsteps and defend Elbaf from major threats in the future. To that end, receiving Supreme King Haki is absolutely crucial for him.
Why More Supreme King Haki Users Are Coming in One Piece
It is highly likely that, before the end of the Elbaf arc, Eiichiro Oda will show the awakening of the Supreme King Haki for both Sanji and Hajrudin. We are eagerly waiting for that as One Piece heads closer to Chapter 1192, which is set to come out on September 6, 2026, in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #41. Beyond these two characters, there are others who are likely to awaken Supreme King Haki before the end of the series. The Flame Emperor Sabo is bound to get this power sooner or later. Koby is another contender to receive this ability. Some members of the Straw Hat Pirates, such as Usopp and even Nami, are candidates too.
Characters who possess Supreme King Haki but have not shown it yet, such as Monkey D. Dragon, Dracule Mihawk, Shamrock Figarland, and many other legendary figures who exist in this world, also exist. Sooner or later, all these characters will unveil their Supreme King Haki, but first, we have the climax of the Elbaf arc to get through, as all focus currently goes to Luffy vs Imu, which will be expanded on September 6, 2026, with the release of Chapter 1192.
