The Monsters from One-Punch Man are the main villains of the series. Also referred to as ‘Mysterious Beings,’ the true origins of these creatures is unknown, since many are often turned into beasts despite originally being human. This process is known as monsterification, and it has given birth to some of the most powerful foes in the series.
As the Monsters serve as the main antagonists of One-Punch Man and their entire goal is to destroy humans, they are subsequently graded into Disaster Levels depending on the danger they pose. As such, the most powerful of them all are the God-Level Monsters, and despite only a few ever getting such a categorization, many are still on this level of strength.

Sage Centipede Was an Incredibly Durable Foe
The Greatest Centipede Monster
The Centipede Monsters are a recurring threat in One-Punch Man, though they generally aren’t very powerful. However, the older and stronger ones, like Elder Centipede, are truly among the most horrifying forces in the series, with Sage Centipede being the strongest such monster that fans currently know of.
Impossibly large and with some of the greatest durability, Sage Centipede was classified into the mysterious ‘???’ Disaster Level, which goes to show how incredible he was. In the end, he was only defeated by Monster Garou in his awakened state.

Platinum Sperm Is One of the Fastest Characters Ever
The Ultimate Form of Black Sperm
As one of the most powerful creatures in the entire Monster Association, the hilariously named Platinum Sperm represents the epitome of what the Black Sperm character is capable of achieving. This state was brought forth due to the fusion of 54 trillion individual cells, with each cell being strong enough to take out an A-Class hero by itself.
Sporting immense physical strength, Platinum Sperm’s true measure of power was his blinding speed, as he managed to fight against Flashy Flash and Monster Garou at speeds many times faster than light itself. Ultimately, he left the S-Class hero in the dust and was regarded by him as being one of the four characters whose speed eclipsed his own.

Evil Ocean Water Is Perhaps the Scariest Monster
An Apathetic and Terrifying Enemy
Although the Monster Association is filled to the brim with impossibly powerful beings that are all horrifying, the award for the scariest of them all goes to Evil Natural Water. This villain can only be described as sentient and malevolent water who is speechless and utterly apathetic, wishing only to consume everything that it comes across.
In its normal state, it was already one of the most powerful monsters in the entire association, but upon being blasted into the sea by Garou, this villain integrated itself with the Earth’s entire ocean system, growing impossibly large and infinitely more powerful. At the end, only a Serious Punch from Saitama was able to put it down for good.

Psykorochi Was the Greatest Monster in the Association
A True Nightmare to Face
The two masterminds behind the Monster Association were incredibly powerful in their own right, owing to Psykos’ amazing psychic gifts and Orochi’s unnatural body and affinity for fighting. Eventually, just as it was believed that both had been defeated, they merged to form an impossibly powerful force that was closer to Disaster Level God than Disaster Level Dragon.
Through Psykos’ incredible psychic powers and Orochi’s unparalleled strength, this monster was enough to take on the remaining heroes all at once. Ultimately, it took the combined efforts of Tatsumaki, Genos, and many other heroes to give it all they had to finally put this powerhouse to rest, confirming it as one of the strongest villains in the franchise.

Boros Is Still One of the Strongest Villains
The Legendary Space Pirate
Throughout the furthest expanses of the galaxy, Boros and his crew of the Dark Matter Pirates are feared. Although the main members are all exceptionally strong, Boros himself is on an entirely different level, and he proved this against Saitama at the end of Season 1 of the anime, where he drove the main character to use a serious attack in order to defeat him.
Boros used his immense speed and unparalleled strength in order to give Saitama his toughest fight up until that point, and his Meteoric Burst form further bolstered his stats significantly. His strongest move, an energy attack called Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, was stated to be strong enough to destroy the world, making most place him even higher than Monster Garou.

Empty Void Was the Herald of God’s Power
The Greatest Ninja
Long before the series began, Blast and his partner went across the world searching for the mysterious God Cubes, and it was said that these two were equal in overall strength. Eventually, Blast’s partner fell under God’s influence and became evil, and it took everything that Blast had in order to defeat his foe.
However, the villain eventually returned to the main story as soon as Garou was defeated by Saitama, resulting in him absorbing all of that cosmic energy into himself. The result was a villain capable of transcending dimensions to deliver attacks that couldn’t be blocked or avoided. Although he was easily defeated by Saitama, this version of the hero was far stronger than before.

Cosmic Garou Is the Series’ Best Villain So Far
The Ultimate Villain
Even on his own, Garou was one of the series’ most powerful and prolific fighters, as he was able to defeat some of the strongest heroes before any transformation. Eventually, he underwent the monsterification process and his strength grew even greater, to the point where he eventually became the strongest being in the setting after Saitama himself.
However, his strength, even in his full monster form, was still far below Saitama, which is when he eventually made a covenant with God to unlock his Cosmic Fear mode, which brought him to the Caped Baldy’s level. The resulting fight was the best ever included in the manga, and it saw these two titans battle it out, destroying entire planets and celestial objects in the process.

God Is the Ultimate End-Point for the Series
The Greatest Villain
In a way, God can be seen as the ultimate end-point for the series and the genesis of all the monsters. Very little is known about this mysterious being, but the Monster Association Arc showed that his power is truly boundless, since a covenant with him was enough to bring even the weakest characters to the absolute highest levels of strength in the series.
A mere touch of the hand gave Garou enough strength to match Saitama, which shows that, for the time being, God is infinitely stronger than even the overpowered main character of the series. Most fans believe that he will stand as the ultimate villain whom everyone will have to work together to defeat at the very end of the series.
One-Punch Man can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
