Chapter 5 in Deltarune includes a secret egg that you can unlock on your adventure. However, it’s easy to miss the item as it’s not part of the main story. This guide will help you out with all the information you’ll need.

How to get the Secret Egg in Deltarune Chapter 5

For starters, you’ll need to progress in the Dark World until you reach the shop on the Cliffs. Go right, and you’ll reach a region with two different sets of wheat.

You’ll need to rush through the second set of wheat while avoiding the incoming damage. Once done, don’t continue along the path moving forward. Instead, return through the path you came from. Dash through the one stack of wheat that’s growing on the field.

Repeat the process, but this time, go from left to right (basically the way you came from). Again, dash through the single stack of wheat growing on the field. Once you repeat this process for a few times, you’ll find a blue balloon popping up in the sky.

Follow the balloon, and it will lead you to a room with a dog flying in the sky tied to a balloon. Follow the dog and interact with the flowers you find in the room. The dog will show you the correct sequence for activating the flowers. Once all the flowers are active, you’ll discover a water canister shaped like a dog.

The dog will start chasing you the moment you pick up the canister. Rush to the left of the room by creating a path with the canister. You’ll reach a new room with a tree growing in it. Go to the back of the tree, and you’ll find a NPC who gives you the egg.

You might be unable to see the NPC, but you can interact with him by reaching towards the back of the room.
