Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl has a huge map with several locations that are locked off, requiring players to either find a code or a key to access them. As these inaccessible locations usually have some great loot locked behind them, it’s worth checking them out. One of these locations is called the Agricultural Workshop in the Yantar region, with a locked stairwell that leads to some valuable loot. Here’s how players can unlock access to upper floors and secure the loot.

How to Unlock the Yantar Agricultural Workshop & Get PSZ-9D Duty Armor in Stalker 2

Players can find the Agricultural Workshop in the Yantar region southwest of the Rostok Base in Stalker 2. After entering the POI, you’ll notice that one of the stairwells in the building is locked. You’ll be able to find the key inside the compound, but it’ll take a bit of exploration. However, it’s worth reaching the top of this building as you’ll be getting a powerful armor piece to equip and lots of valuable loot.

There are two entries to the compound, and it’s recommended that you enter through the entrance to the west to follow this guide easily.

Unlocking the Stairwell in the Agricultural Workshop Building

The first thing you’ll need to do is open the stairwell in the building to the right. To do that, you’ll need to find the first key. Here’s how you can do that.

  1. Enter the Agricultural Workshop POI, take an immediate left, and enter the building.
  2. Keep heading further into the building until you come across an open stairwell. Reach the top and go through the room until you arrive at the catwalk with Electro anomaly.
  3. Carefully follow along the catwalk and make sure to pick up some loot along the way. Once you reach the end, you can pick up the first key beside a body.
  4. Take the key, enter the second building to the right, and use it to unlock the stairwell.

Getting the Second Key to the Skybridge

Now, you’ll need another key to make your way over to the other part of the building by unlocking the skybridge.

  1. Head up the stairwell, and you’ll notice that the entrance to the first floor is locked off. So, head over to the second floor instead.
  2. After arriving at the second floor, go through the corridor ahead and take a right. Keep moving forward until you come out of the building and onto a broken emergency staircase.
  3. Look to the right, and you’ll see a makeshift platform that’s right beside an open window. Vault over the railing of the staircase and onto the platform to enter the first floor of the building.
  4. Get ready for combat as there’s a Burer here that you’ll need to eliminate.
  5. Once the Burer is down, look beside the window you entered through to find the key for the skybridge doors.
  6. Exit the room and go through the skybridge to unlock the double doors at the end of it to enter the next section.

Finding the Key to the Agricultural Workshop’s Roof

Here, you’ll need to find the keys to the Agricultural Workshop’s roof, which are located behind the locked door in this section.

  1. After entering the next section, make a left turn and go through the hallway until you spot an open door blocked by debris.
  2. Equip your weapon and aim at the lock on the door across the room to open it.
  3. Now go around the corridor and enter through the (now unlocked) door to encounter an Electrical Poltergeist.
  4. After taking care of the mutant, grab the keys to the Old Padlock next to the entrance near the body.
  5. Now head upstairs using the stairwell and unlock the roof.

Acquiring the PSZ-9D Duty Armor on the Skybridge

Once you’re on the roof, simply go towards the right until you spot a medkit and a limited edition energy drink sitting on the edge. Grab these items and vault off the roof onto the skybridge below. Run to the end of the skybridge to get the PSZ-9D Duty Armor and a stash full of valuable loot items like medkits and food.
