These JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Shoes Are Unreal

Some JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans are about to look incredibly chic, as a new collection of footwear inspired by some of Stardust Crusaders‘ most popular characters is coming soon. While it has remained popular in Japan since its initial serialization began in 1987, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure only found international attention following the release of David Production’s 2012 anime adaptation. Now, a certain subset of the show’s fans will be able to hit the town in some serious style.

While each of JoJo‘s story arcs boasts plenty of dedicated fans, the third, Stardust Crusaders, remains a highlight, running in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1989 to 1992. The most recent anime adaptation kicked off in 2014 and wowed audiences worldwide, with Jotaro and Dio’s fight going down in history as one of the most epic in the history of the franchise. Countless figures and pieces of apparel have been released over the years, allowing fans to show their love for the series, though items specifically catering to female JoJo fans are a rare sight. Ladies are in luck this time around, though, as some new footwear will allow them to step into the shoes of four Stardust Crusaders personalities.

Iconic Characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Inspire Line of Women’s Pumps

MAYLA, a Japanese apparel company known for crafting intricate apparel inspired by anime, manga, and video games, has revealed a new collection of pumps inspired by four characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders: Jotaro Kujo, Noriaki Kakyoin, Iggy, and Dio. Preorders are scheduled to begin on July 17 at 5 PM JST, and each pair of shoes will be available with a ribbon for ¥30,800 (around $190) or without for ¥28,160 (around $174). The items can be shipped internationally, and the preorder period is set to conclude on August 19.

This isn’t the only new merchandise to hit shelves lately, as in April, the popular Japanese fashion retailer GU revealed a collection of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure shirts, featuring characters and motifs from Part 1, Phantom Blood, all the way to Steel Ball Run. Figure fans are also in luck, as preorders for a beautifully sculpted Johnny Joestar and Slow Dancer figure are currently open at Good Smile Company through September 2, with the item scheduled to ship between April 1 and June 30, 2027.

2026 has been a fantastic year for JoJo fans, as the seventh main story arc, Steel Ball Run, began its anime adaptation on Netflix in March, with plans to return in September 2026. Set in the USA in the late 1800s, the incredibly popular arc follows Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who is now a paraplegic and hopes to regain the use of his legs, along with Gyro Zeppeli, a former executioner who seeks to save a child on death row. The pair compete in the titular horse race seeking the grand prize of $40 million, but find themselves in trouble after discovering that the race’s sponsor has a hidden agenda.

Initially published in Weekly Shonen Jump, new chapters of Hirohiko Araki’s long-running manga series are now published in Ultra Jump. The ninth main story arc, The JoJoLands, kicked off in 2023, following Jodio Joestar, an antisocial teenage gangster living in Hawaii whose only goal is to become wildly wealthy, no matter what it takes. It’s unclear what the future of the series holds, but Araki likely has plenty of bizarre adventures up his sleeve.
