This Razer mouse saved me from a guild kick, and it's 21% off for Prime Day

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft longer than some of you have probably been alive (which is, frankly, quite depressing), and during that time, I’ve gone through all the stages of WoW gameplay.

Casual leveling. Easy-mode raiding. Mythic raids and M+ with high keys. MoP Classic with the full glory of a fresh Brewmaster Monk.

And I’ve struggled sometimes. Once you have so many different keybinds that you’re using your Ctrl, Alt, and Shift, it’s too easy to make a raid-wiping mistake if you click the wrong thing.

Some of those mistakes got me in hot water with my raid leader, in fact. That’s what prompted me to finally invest in a proper MMO mouse.

My choice was simple: a Razer Naga, which is a mouse I’d been dreaming of for years as a broke college student. I bought it at full price, but you can now get the Razer Naga V2 Pro at a snazzy 21% discount while Prime Day deals last.

When I first bought it, I wasn’t one to spend a fortune on peripherals (other than the headset, which, coincidentally, I also use a Razer headset these days). The price tag made me flinch, but I’m an adult now, so there was no one to tell me I couldn’t do it.

Good thing, too. The Razer Naga V2 Pro completely transformed my WoW gameplay for the better, and I don’t think I could ever play an MMO again without a suitable mouse.

The Naga V2 Pro serves up three hot-swappable magnetic side plates, so you can customize it as needed. Choose between 12-, six-, and two-button variants. I tend to use the 12-button plate for gaming, and then scale down to two when I’m working. In total, you can get up to 19+1 programmable buttons, and with Synapse, you can add a modifier to each, too.

This is a hefty squeaker, weighing in at 134 g. It’s equipped with the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor and has a polling rate of 1,000 Hz as well as a max DPI of 30,000. You can use it in wired or wireless mode (in my case, I just plug it in to charge once a week or so).

This mouse slightly overwhelmed me at first. It definitely has a learning curve. But now that I’ve mastered it, I’m doing better than ever, my guild master doesn’t hate me (at least not for gameplay reasons), and I love everything about it. For me, it is by far the best gaming mouse.

Get the Razer Naga V2 Pro while Prime Day deals last, because there’s not much time left to gear up for WoW Forever (or wherever else your MMO-loving heart leads you to).
