Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guillemot dies in plane crash

Ubisoft co-founder, Claude Guillemot, has died in a plane crash.

According to Ouest France, Guillemot was one of two people killed in the accident on 19th June in La Baule, Brittany, France, after the Cessna 421 twin-engine – registered to Guillemot – crashed. He was 69.

The report reveals that Guillemot’s family was informed of the accident later that same day, but formal identification “has not yet been possible” after the aircraft crashed near the runway.

A member of La Baule flying club, Guillemot had reportedly been due to attend an aviation event that weekend.
