Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been revived on PlayStation with the arrival of the PS4 and 5 ports of the game, allowing players to relive the golden era of Call of Duty in the next generation. Those jumping in may already find themselves getting sniped by players running the Ballista. If you are wondering what class they might be running, here is the best meta Ballista class setup you can use in Black Ops 2.
Best Ballista Class Setup in Black Ops 2
Best Ballista Build
- Ballistic CPU: Reduced weapon sway when aiming. Perfect for ensuring the Ballista is as accurate as it can be.
- Fast Mag: Faster reload speeds. The best option for lowering down the amount of downtime when swapping out a magazine.
The Ballista build I decided to go for is an old classic, one that only uses two attachments, freeing up some room for additional Perks and a Secondary option while keeping the Ballista the best it can be. While some players may opt to run a Suppressor or FMJ, doing so will reduce the damage range of your gun, and the FMJ rounds only really allow you to shoot through objects better.
Recommended Secondary
- B23R with an Extended Clip
For the Secondary, I opted for the B23R, the classic burst-fire Pistol many players might remember. The damage is good, and it’s an excellent weapon to have on hand in case other players get a little too close for comfort. Another good consideration is the KAP-40, which is a full auto Machine Pistol. However, I feel that the B23R is much more reliable.
Best Perks
- Hardline (Perk 1)
- Toughness (Perk 2)
- Dexterity (Perk 3)
- Awareness (Perk 3 with the Perk 3 Greed Wildcard)
When it comes to Perks, you do have quite a bit of freedom, but I opted for a classic setup that uses the Perk 3 Greed Wildcard. Hardline and Toughness need little introduction, allowing you to earn your streaks faster and reducing that pesky flinch which could otherwise throw off your aim.
Dexterity is mainly picked for a faster aim speed when coming out of a sprint, and Awareness allows you to better hear footsteps in case another player is sneaking up on you. If you feel that players are constantly running Dead Silence, however, feel free to swap it out for another Perk of your choice.
