Zero the ghost dog is stuck in a portrait, and you’re the only one who can save him in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Oogie Boogie won’t make it easy, though, and you’ll first have to track down some hidden Zero drawings to successfully free Zero.
Almost all of the Zero drawings are pretty well hidden, and you’re only given a general area to look, so finding them on your own can be tough. If you’re struggling to track them all down, here’s where to find all Zero drawings in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Find and interact with all Zero drawings in Disney Dreamlight Valley
During The Ghost in the Portrait quest, you’re asked to find and interact with all Zero drawings around the Mirror Lair. To get this mission done, you need to find and remove a total of five hidden Zero drawings.
This is a crucial part of officially unlocking Zero as a loyal Companion and new ally for the valley. It’s also one of the many steps you need to take to unlock Oogie Boogie, so although it can be tough to figure out, checking this task off is a must.

All Zero drawing locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley
All five Zero drawings can be found hidden around the first floor of Oogie Boogie’s Mirror Lair, so you don’t need to venture upstairs to find any. Even though it’s a small area to search, they’re still pretty well hidden, so here are the exact locations of each one.
- The first Zero drawing can be found right behind the dancing skeletons. You can find it to the left of Scrooge McDuck’s safe and the long counter in the middle of the room.
- The second Zero drawing can be found near the left edge of the long black table where you previously placed the Enchanted Gift Box earlier in The Ghost in the Portrait mission.
- The third Zero drawing can be found on the backside of the tall stack of dice located slightly left of the large lava pit right in the middle of the room.
- The fourth Zero drawing can be found on the ground in the window alcove that’s located to the left of the crafting station.
- The fifth Zero drawing can be found tucked away in the back corner to the right of the staircase that’s situated on the right side of the room.
Each time you find one of the Zero drawings around Oogie Boogie’s lair, walk up to it and press the button that appears next to the word “Interact” to clear it away. The image will then drop some Zero Essence you can pick up nearby. Repeat this process for all five drawings to officially finish this task so you can finally get one step closer to unlocking Zero.
