Will Serfort’s long-awaited reunion with Elfie in Wistoria: Wand and Sword, Season 2, Episode 7, takes yet another frustrating delay, as new obstacles continue to stand between the two childhood friends. Despite Will’s efforts to climb the tower and fulfill his promise, Season 2, Episode 7 shifts focus towards proving Will’s worth to Kreutz Harlon of the Upper Institute instead of the Magia Vander, who already gave their blessings to him.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 6 Review: The First Bloom
Will Serfort once again proves his doubters wrong in the latest episode of Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2.
Many fans of Wistoria: Wand and Sword were disappointed and frustrated by Kreutz Harlon’s unnecessary actions against Will Serfort. His motives felt like a repeat of the same forced interference that Professor Edward once imposed on Will at school. If it happens again, it could split fans between those who care about the buildup and those who think Wistoria: Wand and Sword is just dragging its feet.
Will Serfort Misses His Chance to Enter a Magia Vander Faction in the First Bloom
Defeating Multiple Zoctonia Isn’t Enough for Will to Reach Elfie
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2, Episode 7 pulled a sudden plot twist with Kreutz Harlon’s resistance to accept Will Serfort in the Magia Vander’s tower. Kreutz effectively replaces Edward as Will Serfort’s number one doubter in the tower after changing the rules of the First Bloom, otherwise known as the pruning ceremony.
Even after the Magia Vander granted blessings and recruitment offers to Will Serfort – who impressively slew multiple Zoctonia on his own – Kreutz Harlon’s authority over the Magia Vander once again becomes a barrier to Will’s progress. This is strange, considering the Magia Vander, like Elfie, should have more authority than Kreutz in the decision. After all, Elfie could easily influence the outcome based on her standing and abilities, yet Kreutz’s authority outweighs that influence.
Will Serfort was forced to take on another batch of dungeon monsters that had been subjected to the experimentation of the Upper Institute. Kreutz summoned two Wors Oozes, liquid monsters who can only be defeated with magic. The encounter became a major problem for Will Serfort, who was born with no affinity for magic. His new sword was even useless against the Worz Oozes, much to the satisfaction of Kreutz Harlon, who seems intent on isolating Will Serfort from his fellow High Mages for the sake of experimentation.
Will Serfort Must Rely on Magic to Defeat the Wors Oozes
Will Serfort Can’t Rely on Borrowed Magic Again
The Wors Oozes are the exact opposite of the Zoctonias that Kreutz Harlon prepared for the First Bloom. They are weak, low-level dungeon monsters that can be easily defeated through basic contact with magic. They are perfect counters to Will Serfort, who only relies on physical attacks to fight. No matter how hard Will swings his sword to cut through the Worz Oozes, their liquid bodies remain unaffected. Worse, even the core of the Wors Oozes is liquid, making it impossible for Will Serfort to prevail.
One Piece Officially Beats Solo Leveling At Crunchyroll 2026 Awards
Crunchyroll Anime Awards results were announced officially on May 23, 2026, and One Piece has officially beaten Solo Leveling.
After Will’s countless attempts to destroy the Worz Oozes, Kreutz Harlon ultimately decides to fail him, alongside the other High Mages whose garb remained colorless. Fortunately, a Second Bloom is set to happen a week later, allowing Will Serfort to redeem himself. If he truly wants to reunite with Elfaria after the Second Bloom, he must change his approach and find a way to somehow use magic against the Wors Oozes. Failing again is not an option, so Will Serfort should bounce back stronger no matter what happens.
Will Serfort Gears Up for the Second Bloom
Julius Assists Will Serfort in Training His Wis
The Second Bloom basically gives another chance for the colorless gloria to receive blessings from the different factions of the tower. It usually happens every six months, but due to the Terminalia incident, the second bloom is set a week after the first bloom. This is the final opportunity for Will Serfort to join Elfaria’s Ice Faction, reunite with his friends, and ascend the tower.
With Julius helping Will Serfort, the situation becomes more complicated, as his support may come with hidden motives that could ruin Will’s chances during the Second Bloom. However, it’s best to assume that Julius has changed and that he’s now genuinely willing to support Will, even if his past actions still cast some doubt on his true intentions. Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2, Episode 8, Teachings of the Witch, will premiere on May 31, 2026.
