Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 5 is here, bringing a whole host of updates, including the return of Frequency for Multiplayer, a bunch of new weapons to unlock, and much more. Alongside the gameplay updates, Season 5 also introduces new Camos for players to earn, from Win Streak Camos to those unlocked through the BlackCell Pass. That’s not all, however, as two new Camos are also tied to Modern Warfare 4. Here’s how to unlock the Gilded Ruin Camo in Black Ops 7 and Modern Warfare 4.
How to Get the Gilded Ruin Camo in Black Ops 7 & Modern Warfare 4
Gilded Ruin Camo Challenge
To get the Gilded Ruin Camo in Black Ops 7 and Modern Warfare 4, you will first need to pre-purchase Modern Warfare 4. Once you have pre-purchased the game, you can then complete the following challenge to earn the Gilded Ruin Camo: earn 5,000 Skulls. Skulls are awarded differently in each mode through eliminations. Here’s the breakdown:
- Endgame: 5 Skulls per elimination
- Multiplayer: 10 Skulls per elimination
- Zombies: 1 Skull per elimination
- Warzone: 30 Skulls per elimination
The Gilded Ruin Camo Challenge goes live on July 23 at 12 PM PT. As an added bonus, the first 100,000 players to unlock the Gilded Ruin Camo will receive a serialized number engraved onto the camo, with the very first player in the world receiving #1 and the last receiving #100,000. If you do not fall within the first 100,000 players to unlock the camo, you will still receive it, but without a serialized number.
How to Get the Moonlit Pearl Camo in Black Ops 7 & Modern Warfare 4
The Moonlit Pearl Camo is another camo that players can unlock alongside the Gilded Ruin Camo. To get it, players simply need to pre-purchase any edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Once done, it will be available to use right away in Black Ops 7 with the launch of Season 5, and can be used in Modern Warfare 4 when it launches on October 23.
Both camos will serve as Universal Camos and can be used on all weapons in both Black Ops 7 and Modern Warfare 4. However, you have until the launch of Modern Warfare 4 to claim them.
