All good things come to an end… but at least you can count on devs to bring them back to life! The Marvel Rivals developers announced that some limited-time bundles would return for the 616 Vault Event. Be sure to set a reminder (don’t be like Blade!), as this event will last only a week, from June 13 to June 20.
What Is the 616 Vault Event?
On June 10, the developers revealed that they would release a patch on June 12. However, alongside some fixes and balancing, the players can expect something quite special to drop, as well. The devs noted: “Return to Earth-616! Six Fan-favorite bundles are back for a limited time! Don’t miss your chance to grab these iconic looks! Available: June 13, 2 AM UTC – June 20, 2 AM UTC”.
So, which bundles are coming back? Venom – Snow Symbiote Bundle, Magik – Frozen Demon Bundle, Rocket Raccoon – Wild Winter Bundle, Groot – Holiday Happiness Bundle, Hawkeye – Galactic Fangs Bundle, and Captain America – Galactic Talon Bundle.
Players Are Fully Supporting the Event
Truth be told, we expected some sort of pushback from the veterans. However, the majority of Marvel Rivals players were glad that everyone would have an opportunity to get some missed bundles during the 616 Vault event. Even better, the community called out the players who asked for these bundles to remain exclusive.
Redacted_G1iTcH stated: “How pathetic do you have to be that somebody else owning a digital cosmetic magically hurts you? Is your house going to explode because they own the same things as you? Like, it’s just a game and they’re spending their money for their enjoyment, not yours”.
Another player, forcedbygovernment, (hopefully) joked: “Our parents and grandparents didn’t lose their lives in the Beanie Baby Wars just for us to forget what exclusivity does to a collector’s brain. RIP Nana, I’m sorry you never got your blue elephant and that woman stabbed you for it the one time you saw it at Kmart”.
Of course, many players reminded the rest that there were far bigger problems than some bundles being less exclusive than they used to be. We’re sure the devs are working on many new features, so let’s not argue about something this trivial.
