The Godly Glamor Star Path event is truly making you work for those precious Tokens, with quite an array of tricky duties to tackle in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the toughest ones asks you to fish for something that’s puffy.
You’re not told what this actually is, where to find it, or when it’s available to catch, so it can be rather daunting to take on this difficult task. You need every last Token you can get if you want to claim those event prizes, though, so here’s how to fish for something that’s puffy in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
What is something that’s puffy in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
For the purposes of the Godly Glamor Star Path event, something that’s puffy refers to Fugu in DDV. This is an extremely rare, difficult-to-find fish that only spawns in one biome under very specific conditions.
You can find and catch Fugu from the Dazzle Beach biome. This is the only region it spawns in, so when you’re attempting to complete this task, you must do so from this area, as you’ll never find this fish swimming around anywhere else.
Fugu only spawns when it’s raining in the valley, so even if you’re in the right area, this fish isn’t always readily available to catch. Instead, you must watch and wait for the right weather to have a shot at finding one.
There’s no way to control the weather or know when it’ll rain in DDV, as it’s entirely unpredictable and random. For the best chances of finding a Fugu, log on as often as you can to check what the weather is like.
Fish for something that’s puffy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To finish the fish for something that’s puffy task, you need to find and catch a total of three Fugu. Whenever you do finally manage to get rain in your valley, be sure to act swiftly and fish as much as possible to get all three in one go; otherwise, you’ll have to wait for another bout of rain to finish this quest.
If you want to truly guarantee you get the Fugu when rain does finally happen, consider making and using some Miracle Fishing Bait or Even More Miraculous Fishing Bait. With this special concoction applied, you can toss your line into any white ripple spot to instantly turn it gold. It doesn’t work on blue bubble spots, so make sure you’re carefully checking the color and only aiming for white ones.
This method only works to help you catch Fugu when it’s already raining out, so you do still have to wait for the right weather, but this does at least help you get golden ripple spots with ease. Successfully checking off this task gets you 15 Tokens to spend in the event, which is a decent prize for the effort you put in.
Still, you’ll probably need quite a bit more to get whichever reward you have your eye on, so consider completing some additional tricky Star Path duties next. Some good ones to start with are chatting with the village’s best dealmaker, harvesting something sweet, collecting some sandy seafood, and crafting a fountain.
