Die Rise Richtofen Easter Egg Walkthrough in Black Ops 2 Zombies

Completing Die Rise’s High Maintenance easter egg for Richtofen can be quite the intense process, but we’ve made it simple with these updated steps. Below, you’ll find a step-by-step easter egg guide for Richtofen’s Die Rise quest to ensure you can complete every step with ease and continue aiding Richtofen in the penultimate map for the Victis crew.

Die Rise Richtofen Side Easter Egg Steps Overview:

1. Build the Tramplesteam.
2. Build the NAV Card Table.
3. Turn on the Power.
4. Activate 4 elevator symbols at the same time.
5. Activate 4 floor symbols in the correct sequence.
6. Use a Sniper Rifle on the orbs in the dragon statue’s mouths.
7. Build and use the Sliquifier on the spawn lion statues.
8. Place 4 Tramplesteams on 4 symbols of lions on the floor.
9. Get 15 kills with the now-placed Tramplesteams.
10. Find 8 Mahjong Tiles and translate their symbols into a sequence.
11. Use Galvaknuckles to punch the pylon in the correct sequence.

Step #1: Build the Tramplesteam

The Tramplesteam is needed for a later step in the easter egg, but all the parts can be found in the lobby (spawn area), so it’s best to build it now by using the crafting table at the bottom of the escalator outside of spawn. Here are the locations of all 4 parts:

Chicken Wire

• To the left of the left statue in the lobby.
• By the left wall, after opening the first door.

Motor

• On the reception desk in the lobby.
• To the right of the elevator in the hallway past the first door.

Bellows

• Sitting in the middle of the left staircase in the lobby.
• Underneath the painting, past the door between the statues.

Flag

• On a chair by the Olympia Wall-Buy in the lobby.
• On the railing before the escalator in the next room.

Step #2: Turn on the Power

You’re going to need to turn on the power now. The power switch is found in a large room with sewing machines inside the building with the dragon statues. Head downstairs and follow the power switch icon on the wall to find this room. Turning on the power activates the elevators, which you need for a later step.

Step #3: Build the NAV Card Table

The NAV Card Table has four parts and can be built on the rooftop where the dragon statue is located, just underneath the large pylon. All parts are found on this rooftop, and you can find them below:

115 Meteorite

• In a trash pile in front of a window.

Wooden Table

• Behind the NAV Card Table, underneath the giant dragon statue and pylon.

Radio

• In front of the destroyed water tower.

Power Box

• In dead man’s corner, to the right of the zombie barrier.

Step #4: Stand on the Elevator Symbols

There are now four unique symbols on top of four elevators. Each player must stand on a symbol at the same time, unless you’re using the solo mod; then you just need to stand on one. Here’s where you can find each of these symbols:

• Left elevator in the corner of the dragon rooftop, where you can buy the Bowie Knife.
• Elevator below the destroyed water tower, in the dragon rooftop building.
• Elevator by the M14 Wall-Buy in the lobby.
• Elevator downstairs in the lobby by the poster of makeup.

Step #5: Stand on the Floor Symbols in the Correct Order

Once all players have stood on the elevator symbols, they will begin glowing. There will now be four floor symbols that you need to stand on. However, this step is trial-and-error. You need to stand on a floor symbol to find the one that glows. The first one to glow is the first in your sequence:

• At the elevator shaft outside the lobby.
• In the center of the cafeteria.
• On the roof outside the showers.
• On the edge by the drop from the rooftop with the pylon.

Once you’ve found the glowing symbol, make note of where it is. Now, try standing on the other symbols until you find your second glowing symbol, and repeat until you have the completed sequence of all four glowing symbols.

Step #6: Use a Sniper to Shoot Orbs Out of the Dragon’s Mouths

Grab a Sniper Rifle either from the SVU-AS Wall-Buy at the department store or from the Mystery Box. You need to use its scope to aim and shoot at the orbs within the teeth of the dragon statues found on the rooftop where you built the NAV card Table.

Step #7: Build the Sliquifier

You now need to build the Sliquifier, the Die Rise Wonder Weapon that’s used for Richtofen’s easter egg. This weapon can be crafted at the bottom of the stairs below the power switch, and all parts can be found in this building:

• Found to the left of the TV.

Handbrake

• Found on a sewing machine table.
• Found downstairs, on a kitchen tabletop.

Gas Canister

• Found in front of the Power Switch.
• Found in a cage by the Sliquifier workbench.

Wires and Discs

• Opposite the Sliquifier workbench on a barrel.
• In the shower room, by the sink and boiler.

Step #8: Use the Sliquifier on the Lobby Statues

Inside the lobby (where you spawn), you can find two statues on either side of the door. You need to shoot 20 shots from the Sliquifier into each statue (so a total of 40 shots). Each of the statues will have an orb that will now be spinning, indicating that you’ve done this step.

Step #9: Place Tramplesteams on the Four Zombie Symbols

Each player now needs to grab a Tramplesteam. There will be four symbols on the floor with a zombie, and you need to place the Tramplesteam on the symbol facing the pylon. This is easily done as the Tramplesteam will not fling back to show it’s in position:

• By the lobby balcony in front of the elevator shaft.
• On the roof balcony close to the pylon.
• On the roof, to the left of the stairs that lead inside.
• On the roof, to the right of the stairs that lead inside.

Once the Tramplesteams have been placed down, let the Tramplesteam get 15 kills towards the pylon. You will know this has been done correctly because the pylon will glow blue.

Step #10: Find the Mahjong Tiles and Activate the Pylon

There will now be 8 Mahjong Tiles around the map, and there are 11 potential spawn locations we’ve listed below. You need to find your Mahjong Tiles and note both the symbol and the color:

• Tile Spawn #1: On the railing of the pylon.
• Tile Spawn #2: On the reception desk in the spawn lobby.
• Tile Spawn #3: To the bottom left of the escalator in the lobby.
• Tile Spawn #4: On the destroyed stairs past the lobby hallway.
• Tile Spawn #5: On a plastic chair in dead man’s corner on the dragon roof.
• Tile Spawn #6: On a kitchen counter on the top floor of the dragon building.
• Tile Spawn #7: On a table to the back right of the power room.
• Tile Spawn #8: On a shelf at the very bottom floor of the power room building.
• Tile Spawn #9: On a couch cushion in the upside-down building hallways.
• Tile Spawn #10: On a ledge in the elevator shaft that leads to the Buddha Room.
• Tile Spawn #11: On the top floor of the Buddha Room in the right corner.

Four of these Mahjong Tiles indicate a direction (North, East, South, West), whereas the other four Mahjong Tiles indicate a number (1, 2, 3, 4). Your goal is to match the direction and number based on whether they have the same color. For instance, if North and 3 are Green, then the third direction in your sequence is North, as they share the same color!

Once you have all your tiles and you know their directions and order, you need to get the Galvaknuckles below the elevator shaft toward the Buddha Room. You now need to head to the pylon on the rooftop and melee each corner of the pylon in the correct direction of your Mahjong Tiles order.

If done correctly, the pylon will glow blue, and the Die Rise icon in the lobby map will also be blue.
