The Pixel Perfect update for DDV is slated to launch on July 29. A precise launch time hasn’t been shared, and likely won’t be ahead of the release, as has been the case with all past updates and fresh releases. Luckily, though, all major updates have launched at exactly the same time, which is 8am CT, so as long as no unexpected delays or issues occur, this one will, too.

When is Ralph coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Ralph, the protagonist of the films Wreck-It Ralph and Ralph Breaks the Internet, is the star of DDV’s Pixel Perfect update, which means he’s arriving on July 29. Like all valley villagers, recruiting him takes a bit of work, so although he’ll be available as soon as the update is live, you’ll have to check off a few key tasks and missions to actually unlock him.

The Pixel Perfect update for DDV mainly focuses on Ralph’s arrival, but it also features some fresh events, gameplay updates, and other exciting additions. Here’s a full breakdown of everything included in it.

One new character – Ralph is the featured villager joining the valley in this update. There’s no new Realm to explore this time around; instead, you’ll find and recruit him using a mysterious new item that pops up in the valley.
New quests – Ralph’s arrival means new missions to tackle as you work on recruiting him, then getting to know him as a friend once he’s an official villager.
New Star Path event – The Pop City Star Path is the latest installment of this ongoing event series, and it’s got quite a vast collection of items for you to unlock. This includes a new feline Companion, outfits inspired by The Aristocats, various city-themed items, and lots more.
Two new rooms in Olaf’s Grand Exhibition – Olaf’s museum is getting two more rooms for you to work through. This time around, you’ll be tasked with filling out the Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights exhibits.
New items – There are loads of new items to unlock in this update. Ralph has an array of friendship rewards, the Premium Shop has plenty of goodies to buy, and so much more.
New and rerun events – More events are soon arriving in the valley, including both fresh ones that haven’t been seen before and reruns of annual occurrences. The Parks Floating Festival is a new one, while the Summer Sizzle and Memory Mania events are reruns.
New features and improvements – Reaching level 10 friendship with villagers now unlocks some best friend perks, including the ability to teleport to them and activate a special glow that grants buffs for key valley activities. You can also now give multiple gifts at once and reroll desired daily gifts for villagers. Owners of The Storybook Vale DLC are getting three new Floating Islands to explore in this update.
