Dragon Ball: All 5 of Yamoshi’s Descendants, Ranked

Dragon Ball: All 5 of Yamoshi’s Descendants, Ranked

Long before Planet Vegeta was ruled by the Vegeta Royal Family in Dragon Ball Z, the Ancient Saiyans lived on Planet Sadala under no one’s rule but their own. In such a lawless land, however, Evil Saiyans began to rise and oppress their weaker, more docile kin. Only one soul was brave enough to stand up before the evil lurking in the hearts of the Saiyan race – the original Legendary Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God, Yamoshi.

Yamoshi was a powerful Ancient Saiyan who gave his life to create a better world and his legacy continues into modern day Dragon Ball through his descendants. The strongest of Yamoshi’s relatives are some of the most powerful beings in Dragon Ball, capable of doing battle with literal Gods and Fusions strong enough to threaten the very fabric of the multiverse. Yamoshi may have failed to defeat the Ancient Saiyans of yore, but his legacy never died out.

Paragus Was One of King Vegeta’s Strongest Soldiers

The fact that Yamoshi was the original Legendary Super Saiyan in Universe 7 means that both Paragus and Broly are his descendants. Given the fact Paragus had a Power Level of 4,200 at the time of his death (a high rating for a Saiyan of his status), he must have been quite the warrior in his pride. Power-wise, Paragus would have been second only to King Vegeta during Vegeta III’s reign.

While it’s possible Broly’s mother was Yamoshi’s descendant, what we’ve seen of female Saiyans would suggest this is not the cast. Despite Paragus’ high Power Level, being exiled on Vampa meant he never got to use his strength. If Paragus were recruited into the Frieza Force pre-DBZ, he would have made the Saiyan Saga much harder, since his Battle Power is higher than both Raditz and Nappa’s.

Shallot is Doing Everything He Can to Live Up to Yamoshi’s Name

Shallot is the main protagonist of Dragon Ball Legends, a mobile canon that focuses on the multiverse going out of control as the player needs to travel through time to correct the timelines. What differentiates Legends from other games in the series like Dragon Ball Online or Xenoverse is the fact that DBL operates like a full-blown series. The story is serialized, broken up into multiple Sagas, and actually offers a lot of new insight into Saiyan lore.

Shallot is confirmed to be directly related to Yamoshi. The Ancient Saiyans come from a period of time after the Evil Saiyans killed the Super Saiyan God, but before Sadala became Planet Vegeta. As an Ancient Saiyan, Shallot is naturally weaker than modern-day Saiyans, but he’s been doing his best to catch up to the likes of Goku and Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super. Shallot’s strongest form is Super Saiyan Blue, which scales to around Golden Frieza in the Tournament of Power and Wrathful Broly in Dragon Ball Super.

Giblet Has Even More Potential Than Shallot

Super Saiyan God Giblet

Giblet is Shallot’s twin brother, but he actually has far more natural potential and strength. Where Shallot has had to work his entire life to get to where he is, Giblet is more of a prodigy. He’s also simply stronger than his brother in terms of raw Power Level. The difference between Shallot and Giblet is similar to Goku and Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga, but unlike Goku, Shallot never truly surpasses or catches up to his brother.

Even though Giblet cannot turn Super Saiyan Blue, he’s still much stronger than Shallot. Giblet’s strongest form is a corrupted version of Super Saiyan God that uses an Unleashed type of Dark Ki to significantly enhance his Power Level. Super Saiyan God (Dark Ki: Unleashed) Giblet scales to around Super Siayan Blue Kaioken x20 Goku from the Tournament of Power, putting him far above Super Saiyan Blue Shallot and making him a worthier successor to Yamoshi’s legacy.

Shallet is the Strongest Ancient Fusion

Shallet in Dragon Ball Legends

By performing the Metamoran Fusion Dance, Shallot and Giblet fuse into Shallet, a powerful Saiyan Fusion who can easily destroy the strongest warriors in Dragon Ball Super without much issue. Shallet cannot turn Super Saiyan Blue and is capped at Super Saiyan God, but he frankly doesn’t need other forms.

In his debut appearance, Super Saiyan God Shallet successfully defeats Fused Zamasu – an immortal villain who even Vegito couldn’t beat. Not only that, Fused Zamasu was actively being helped by Goku Black in this battle, meaning that Shallet defeated an even more dangerous version of the villain. At full power, Super Saiyan God Shallet would be slightly weaker than Kefla and Ultra Instinct Sign Goku from the Dragon Ball Super anime.

1

Broly is the Strongest Pure Blood Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super

Broly and Yamoshi are Universe 7’s only known Legendary Super Saiyan, so it stands to reason that they’re related by blood (especially in a post-Dragon Ball Super world that puts a greater emphasis on Saiyan family lines). Despite sharing a transformation and title, Broly is much stronger than Yamoshi ever was. Broly was born with a Power Level of 10,000 before growing into an adult who could harness all of his Great Ape powers into his base form.

As a Super Saiyan, Broly was strong enough to battle Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, and completely outclassed them upon becoming a Legendary Super Saiyan. Now that Broly has unlocked True Legendary Super Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103, he’s even stronger than Gogeta Blue was during their final battle in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Broly is currently the strongest Pure Blood Saiyan in Dragon Ball, and it’s not even close.
