The Mourner’s Mile Spike Vault in Mina the Hollower not only contains an important treasure chest, but it’s also the last hurdle to overcome if you’re trying to reach the Queensbury Crypt. To solve the Spike Vault puzzle, you must find the hidden Spike Vault tunnels and figure out which one leads to the treasure chest, a free kear (key), and the pressure plate that removes the nearby spikes.

How to clear the Mourner’s Mile Spike Vault in Mina the Hollower
While exploring Mourner’s Mile: Knight’s Rest, a Mina the Hollower area east of Ossex and the Eastern Heath, you’ll find a road blocked by spikes and a corresponding pressure plate that’s, unfortunately, placed on a high ledge accessible from the Spike Vault. The Spike Vault also contains a treasure chest.
If you enter the Spike Vault through the front door, you won’t be able to reach the higher areas, so instead, leave the Spike Vault and exit this area to the northwest. This road, too, is blocked by spikes; step on the nearby pressure plates (destroy the boulder on the left first) to clear the path.
On the next screen, go east, passing the knight, to find a small graveyard. Break the headstone (not a boulder) on the second grave from the left on the top row, and burrow through the hole to land next to the treasure chest inside the Spike Vault. This is the only tunnel you need to gain access to the Spike Vault’s pressure plate and its hidden loot — you can break the boulders in the graveyard for additional loot, but you don’t need the tunnels.
Open the Spike Vault treasure chest to obtain a Vial Pouch, which increases the maximum number of plasma vials you can hold. Lower the rope, then drop down the ledge to the left. Break the porous stone in the top left corner to reach a large chamber full of bones. Inside this room, break a second porous stone to find a kear. Once you’ve collected the loot, return to the Spike Vault’s main chamber, use the rope to climb up, and drop down to the right. From there, exit the Spike Vault to the south to find the pressure plate.
Step on the pressure plate to remove the spikes, exit the Spike Vault, and take the road east to arrive at the Queensbury Crypt. That extra Vial Pouch will, no doubt, come in handy.
