How To Unlock Hercules And Phil In DDV
To unlock Hercules and Phil, trigger Hercules’ Realm quests to eventually finish A Godly Mess quest in DDV. The quest starts with players destroying obstacles in the temple and catching floating puzzle pieces. Next, complete the puzzle by re-arranging the pieces to satisfy the gods and clear the temple from rubble. Here’s how to complete A Godly Mess quest in DDV to unlock Hercules and Phil.
A Real Godly Mess Quest In DDV
Turn to the left and use the Pickaxe to destroy the purple rocks and clear the way. Grab one of the two puzzle pieces for now.
Go to the right side and remove the rock to get another piece. Walk around the fountain to get the second puzzle piece from before.
Face the entrance of the temple to see one puzzle piece to the left and the remaining two are to the right. All three are hidden behind obstacles.
Talk to Phil once you are done to proceed with A Real Godly Mess Quest. You need to re-arrange the Ruined Mosaic of the Gods to save the island. The first step is to search for border pieces to make the process easier. Once the border is complete-ish, the remaining pieces can be slotted in the middle to finish the puzzle in DDV.
The completed mosaic will fix the temple and remove the fog from Phil’s training island. Since there is nothing more to do, Hercules agrees to go to the valley. However, Phil refuses for unclear reasons.
For now, head back to the valley and build a house for Hercules to welcome the hero to Dreamlight Valley.
After talking with Herc for a bit, players discover with a bit of cooking, Phil can be persuaded to come. Return to the trainer and give him any 5-Star meals to satisfy his appetite.
He reveals there’s a trickster on the island that is causing all this trouble, and he has stayed behind to investigate. To help him, approach the mosaic painting to find a thread made of Dreamlight magic left by the person responsible.
Players immediately recognize them as the mysterious Realmweaver, and convince Phil to head to the valley to figure out the trickster’s identity. This completes A Real Godly Mess quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley and unlocks Hercules and Phil as characters.
